Did your parents ever find you out?

I think my siblings know based on using same computers growing up, but I don't know about my parents as we're not close.

No, it was my laptop, so what could he say? I walked into the room, and his hands were up, as if it were a holdup, lest he touch anything else. I muttered something that I don't remember (something like "oh, that's mine"), looked at the computer screen as if it were some weird pop up ad and closed the window.

The Tickling Media Forum is one thing.....the "show us your feet" sticky at the top of the page is another, THAT'S the thing that was really most embarrassing. I can explain tickling to people. Don't even get me started on how the relentless foot fetishism on this board makes me cringe. I'm not immune to the charms of lower body tickling, but jesus christ.......!

I'm sure my brother told my mother. My first girlfriend might have also. (she lived with us after her mother died). I know she wrote a poem the morning after the first time I "worshiped" her feet.....and read it to my mother! (my mother was laughing her ass off and thought I had a foot fetish for the rest of her life) (I told you I wasn't immune to the charms of lower body tickling!) When Rex Ryan got caught making videos of guys huffing his wife's feet, my mom threw that in my face and looked at me as if that was what I was into. Gross.

At the time I was just as embarrassed at having a tickle fetish, but not now. Now I'm proud of it.

It's funny, I have the reverse. I feel it easier to explain a foot fetish (which is pretty common and well known) than a tickling fetish. There's something odd in admitting a penchant for torture and dominance, submission and humiliation: "But don't worry, I'm a decent person!" :D Even a colleague told us very casually just last week over lunch that her ex-boyfriend was into her feet. I am not sure she would have been so casual about him being into tying and tickling her :rolleyes:

Trust me, I've been in both positions, this isn't a hypothetical, tickling fetish is easier to explain. Girlfriends of mine have been intrigued by this unique fetish they've never heard of; foot fetishism automatically makes them/most people go "eeeew", and you have alot of explaining to do. It's precisely because they HAVE heard of it before that makes it more difficult to explain. Anything that has a connotation of a bad smell and dirtiness (which is what most people associate feet with) is going to be a turn-off for most people.

Foot creeps on the internet don't help things. But then again, neither do tickle creeps like David D'amato, so.....it's six on one hand, half-a dozen on the other.......

I've had different experiences, but hey, that's what makes the discussion interesting ;) I never had any problem explaining either fetishes, but it was always more complicated for tickling and the underlying sadistic aspect of it. Only once ever I had a negative reaction, and it was about tickling :p

As for creeps, we are of one mind: there's always THAT guy that will give the kink a bad rep. Then again, like you said: every kink has a handful of them~

To add to my post of five years ago, I remember as a kid my aunt telling my mum a few times that I’d been tickling her stocking feet, which was a bit awkward when you’re aged 11 - 14! Funnily enough, when I was 14 and tickling my aunt’s stocking feet I inadvertently blurted out that I liked tickling her feet. As far as I know she never told my Mum that time, and also didn’t seem too freaked out by it. Which was good for me as it meant more years of being able to tickle her stocking feet and not worry about getting found out!

My god, I must be really old compared to a lot of people in this thread i've seen talking about parents discoveries through computers and laptops. When I was young and living with my parents the only computers there were was the Apple II-E (fun for games at school), Commodore 64 and the Adam computer for the Coleco Vision video game system (they were so much better than Atari lol). No internet existed.

But besides my brief nostalgia trip there, on topic, nope..my folks never found out to this day. And even if they had, id be like weezl and say vaffanculo :gbtoast:

My whole family is eccentric. I could bore you with a hundred stories about everyone. Me having a tickling fetish isn't a big deal. IMO.

My dad used to argue that watching porn is worse than my brother becoming a heroin addict that almost ended up homeless. Stupid logic. I guess after my dad earned his MBA 27 years ago, it went to his head and he feels like he's always the smartest person in the room everywhere he goes. He's a bit disconnected from reality.

I also celebrate it every time I am commissioned something.

I've come to the conclusion that the cost of those degrees comes at the loss of common sense! If they ever had it in the first place!
 
well for me, i don't think so...they always just saw it as a goofy thing that occasionally I do, my parents were quite old fashioned so tbh i think the word tickle fetish would not process in their vocalbily if i tried to even explain it. Friends on the other hand.. some of them knew lol
 
My parents never knew, and if they did they never said anything. I was and still am the family computer expert, and 90% of everything they knew about computers came from me.

In my younger days I would browse here, Camp Tickle, and another place I believe was called the Funnybone Storybox. I’d save what I liked to my floppy disk and read when nobody was around.


The closest I ever came to anyone finding out was my best friend finding my Ticklish Female Celebrities list that I had printed and hidden in a D&D book. He picked it up and spent several seconds reading through before asking me what it was.

I told him “I just print out stuff like that and leave it to freak people out for going through my stuff.”

Being that my little sister was known as a sneak who was often caught picking up the phone to listen to my conversations this was a plausible excuse.

He replied with “I could get you stuff more messed up than this.” Read through it a little more then put it back. Neither of us ever brought it up again. But I honestly think he was looking for Sarah Michelle Gellar because he had a crush on her for years.

Tickling, only my mom did because of something that happened on here.

When I was very young my mom had a hot friend who was an airline stewardess.

My mom was in our house, and my mom's friend was lying on a chair near our pool.

I asked my mom's friend if I could smell the friend's feet. My mom's friend said yes. I did it, but later my mom's friend told my parents with the friend's husband sitting there. I was 7 or 8 at the time. I dont think anyone was thrilled but I did not get into too much trouble at the time because I think everyone figured something like. The second incident was something I 've posted about before.

When I first joined the forum in 2002 I was talking to this girl and forgot to ask age.

Suddenly a screen popped up saying something like.

"Attention, you are in trouble with the X police for talking to someone not of age"

After speaking to the mods/admins later I found out that such had happened to a couple of other people and that the person who did this was a troll.

I happened to mention it to my mom because I thought it was real and that I had to talk to a lawyer.

Turns out the thing was not real and was just dropped.

Those are the two incidents I remember.

I will answer this with a funny story

I went to nest twice and twice it was with tickleshotel as my roommate. Well what you remember about tickleshotel is one she loves tickling, and two she is really really short. So my mom could not figure out why I was going to a gathering of this group that frankly was so secretive, apparantly my mom made a guess and even though it was wrong I never corrected her on it, you see she though being that tickleslhotel was four foot six that the gathering was for short people(Dwarves), so to kind of milk this along I took a picture of Laurie and Irishgirl together. When I showed the pic to mom I made it a point of mentioning both there heights.
