Heather Whitestone was Miss Alabama in the Miss America contest in which she won.
Malaea Nelms was Miss Alabama in the Miss USA contest and it was her who said that.
It's amazing how prevalent this list is and how that quote is continuously attributed to a woman who is deaf. Whoever created that list of quotes should have done their research.
