X-Mas on a Saturday...Anyone else feel like they just lost a weekend?
I know there are plenty of you out there who love Christmas and this thread is obviously not for you. However, did anyone else wake-up today and realize, "shit this is a Saturday gone to waste and a weekend lost to being around people I ordinarily would never want to hang out with, as opposed to being able to go out and enjoy myself like I normally do on a Saturday night?"
It don't even feel like the weekend.

I couldn't even get a goddam coffee today at the donut shop I visit. Even the 24-hour coffee shops shut down. I feel like it's the friggin twilight zone. Worst of all, when it all gets back to normal, it's friggin Monday again and back to work.

This is the first Saturday I've had off in months, and I've been bored to death all day. Nothing open, nowhere to go. Speaking just for myself I'm glad it is about over.

yeah, that's why I'm glad I've got my own espressomachine; we don't even have donut or 24-hour coffee shops here.

Of course the Butthole that forced us to come to work because it was important had both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off.

I wish I had to work. Beats the hell out of sitting around all Saturday with cranky relatives and screaming out of control children.
