Tickle Models using their Real Name: Not a good idea?

I've been thinking about how easily searchable people are on the internet, so I decided to see if former tickle models could be found. By tickle models, I'm not talking about the professionals, I'm talking about the ones who did a one or two shoots with a single producer.

The reason for this is that we tickle fetishers are an interesting bunch, and my concern is that someone with a little less restraint will do the same experiment, find some poor gal on Facebook, and bombard her with tickle questions.

The results of my search were actually a bit surprising.

Using the name of the model and the location of a few producers (which is not that hard to find considering that it comes up from time to time), I found quite a few models on Facebook and model mayhem.

My question, do you think it's a bad idea that models use their real name for tickle fetish videos? IMHO, I think that would be the easiest way to prevent the one-off tickle models from being found.

Or maybe I'm just being too paranoid...

It is probably a very bad idea for a woman who does fetish modeling to use her real name. There are just too many creeps and obsessive individuals out there.

Realtickling doesn't as far as I know. My friend did a video for them under a fake name.

I never use a model's real name when I shoot with them. If she insists, maybe because she has established herself as a model, then we go with it, but all the others use a screenname. Sometimes, I even alter the location, saying one model shot in NJ, when we may have shot in CT or PA, etc.

I don't know of many models in this business that actually honest to god use there real names. We normally makeup a name. Some sound like real names and some you can easily tell they are made up fake names. Mine is Rose Holland, but I'll assure you even though it sounds like a real name, it isn't my real name. Like Mils said there are way too many creeps/stalkers out there and the last thing I or I am sure most fetish/porn models want is to be easily findable. Oops you weren't talking about professionals, but I would hope the female that does a clip for some quick cash would be smart enough to not use her real name or if not I'd hope the producer would create one.

Identity for a model working in the fetish business is significant, and a related area is web cam models.

A lot of both models are not embarrassed by their chosen work. But all have encountered public flack and annoyances from people who are not as open minded. They also draw stalkers and having some distance is important.

Most create layered identities. A very public social media presence on Twitter and Facebook, a secondary shield account that is used for contacts one level in from the fetish work, usually also under a false name, and finally a real set of accounts that link to their real friends. All three sets of Identities are kept compartmentalized and it's pretty difficult to link them.

Models are folks doing a job. The quirks of the work they chose expose them to specific problems, and they have to work a bit to be safe. Interact with the out there public accounts and don't worry so much about who they 'really' are. They are a performer, who has chosen to let you see a bit more of them then other performers. You don't get the close access pass because you watched a video.
