My experience with a fake tickle producer

Rule number one for potential models: if the photographer/producer has no website and nothing to show for, he is not a photographer or producer. I mean, seriously: safety reasons?? Whatever! :D

I disagree with this. Look everyone has to start somewhere. Every producer/photographer has to have that shoot that is their very first ever.

You're right, but in this case he should find a professional, experienced model and pay them and not go through fetish sites. Otherwise the chances are just too high that it's some kind of creep making up a fake story to get someone tied down.

Sounds like a case for Nev on catfish!

My thoughts exactly! :p

Seriously though, I'm glad you managed to avoid anything more serious with this guy kiki. He sounds like an absolute twat. He probably just gets off on the control and deception of the situation, but it could of turned out much worse if you actually met him!

It just goes to show you should always trust your gut and if things seem a little off then they probably are! Glad you've adopted the live and learn approach though, rather than letting it affect all your future dealings with members here :)

She is talking about a tickle shoot which would be fetish modeling. Just about every big professional experienced fetish model I can think of are on FetLife and so are a lot of the producers/photographers. Their are a ton of groups specifically for posting casting calls and FetLife is where I find most of my work. If you're saying they should join a site like Model Mayhem and find an experienced vanilla model that may not be easy. From what I have personally noticed and have heard from others I've worked with most vanilla models don't do fetish work. A lot of people I've worked with aren't even on MM and I've read many a model/photographer/producer posting that FetLife is the way to go.

I still say if the person is new ask to meet them somewhere public first. This gives you the chance to ask the producer/photographer what they are hoping to accomplish with their shooting. My attitude is if they are just trying to find a way to get someone tied down with the intentions of doing something illegal they probably will be too scared to meet you in public. You can also ask if you may bring a friend along to the meet up. I understand why some producers/photographers don't like escorts at shoots, but at public place it shouldn't matter. If they do seem vehemently against you bringing a friend, I'd then probably say thanks, but no thanks.

One of the producers I've shot with the most is Sensual Fantasies. He was just getting started and therefore he didn't have a site up yet or much work to show. We met up at a restaurant before we ever did a shoot. We discussed shoot ideas and he explained what his site would be about. I also never once got any bad vibes from him.

Well, there's fetish models. :) I am just saying that it is probably not the best idea to pair up an inexperienced model with an inexperienced photographer/producer. And in this case, it was pretty obvious from the get-go that he was just talking a bunch of bullshit. No real photographer or producer would act that way.

Shit it took me like 3 years and a handful of money with pictures and references to get one model, and there are people who have willing lees making considerable effort to find them? Cray.

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. I always make sure I speak with models on the phone, prior to meeting them for the shoot, specifically because the majority of the models I've worked with have never done this before. I want my models to be at ease and ready to shoot. Someone who is nervous and feels unsafe will not make for a good model AND it will make me feel like I have done her a disservice by making her feel that way.

I agree with the folks who have posted here, saying you are better off having not met this "producer"; you could have been hurt. If I ever get the opportunity to work with you; your experience will be a good one. I'm sorry again that this was something you had to endure.

Sounds scary as hell. Background checks, as simple as a quick Google, can be helpful. Stay safe, tickle folks.

Was there even anything to check? I mean, he didn't want to tell her anything...for "safety reasons"....

Thanks for the support and words of wisdom, everyone. I am very lucky, and I shiver at the thought of what could have happened to me because I was an idiot. For those asking, this experience has made me not want to pursue modeling or filming for a producer at this time.
