marquee disabled?

Has the marquee utility been disabled? It doesn't seem to work any more.

<marquee direction=down scrollamount=11>
Testing; should be moving downward.

I did nothing, nothing I tell you!

I'm not sure why it stopped for you or why it came back. I would note that it is an obsolete tag, so do not be surprised if one day (after a browser upgrade) it just stops working completely.

Very interesting. I didn't know it was obsolete, but I may as well keep using it in the Silly Stuff Forum as long as it still works.
