computer problems

My computer is now five years old. It may be time to get a new one with better features.

They can be a pain. Most touch screen things work better with a screen protector on them. Makes cleaning them much easier. :)

Its sounding like there maybe a virus or some malware on there. You should scan your computer to be sure.

Do you mean screen savers or screen protectors? Screen protectors are mainly for tablets and other touch screen computers and phones. They are designed to protect the main screen of the device. Screen savers are really just for decoration these days. I guess I got terms mixed up when I used screen saver as in something to protect the screen. I should have said screen protector. Sorry. :sorry:

No problem. I do like screen savers with many colors and I know that they are just for decoration.
I don't have a touch screen computer, so I don't have a screen protector.

Yea me too. :) It does seem to be one of the few things that actually helps rather then being in the "even more stuff they sell you to sell you stuff" category. LOL

You need to clear all cookies with a program such as CCleaner or maybe more drastic measures will be needed such as wiping the hard disc and reinstalling the OS.

I don't know what else to suggest. You could post this in the Technical Assistance forum and hope that HDS addresses it. He is a genius with computers. :D
