What I used to do, and still do for authors not in this new archive section, is this:

Go to the "Post Stories" forum. Change the settings at the bottom of the page to "thread starter" and "ascending" order. Go to page 3. Then edit the page number in the address window at the top of the screen to a good guess for where the author you seek might be. Adjust your guess as needed. (Editing the page number is much faster than inching forward two pages at a time by clicking on the page numbers available on the bottom of the screen.)

For example, as of today, the stories by i64ever can be found on pages 35 and 36.
