Adult Tickling Summer Camp Idea

So in the chat room I had an idea. So many people like musicians (music camps- meet your fav musician- he'll teach you a song etc )and adults who want to have a "for adults" summer camp...(general summer fun activities- just with alcohol) are doing this more and more. So... I thought... why not one for us?

Obviously logistics are at play for a first one. Expenses for the rental of the camp... security expenses...food/water etc. Things for other activities- like... softball equipment or dodge ball (Lers vs lees haha)... anything you can think of that is an activity other than tickling that goes along with summer fun activities. But... tickling would be one of the many *games*... or at least a place where people could take a vacation... and meet like minded individuals. I believe insurance would have to be bought as well in case anyone was hurt.

Now obviously there are a lot of questions even I am having of how something like this could work. What do you think? Would you go to something like this? Even if the cost was fairly high? I myself wouldn't (and couldn't) break the bank to go to something like this. At least not any time soon. (Because I certainly WOULD go if I could.) Even running this I'm wondering how I could pull it off. We all have bills and such... so... Obviously I would try to find a place that 1- would be cool with this- 2- wouldn't rake us over financially- (we might be raked over anyway) 3- would actually be a nice place to vacation at say for a weekend. A place that would be worth it. Though... I don't know if I could get beautiful AND cheap. I have no idea about any of this.

And... the rules, consent to play, would be strict. So... I'm guessing I'd have to get a lawyer to draw up the consent forms. So... based on every thing I just said- it would not be cheap to do this. Lemme pull a number out of the air- say $25,000 costs combined. But there would have to be enough people coming to cover the cost. So... for each person let's pull another number out of the air... $500.00 per person. Again these numbers are coming out of my imagination. The numbers could be much higher... or smaller. I don't know.

And I'm not saying this is happening... but if it could... let's play around with the idea... how COULD we make this happen say for next year.

What do you think?

I definitely like the idea but being from Canada I doubt it would be anywhere close to me for it to be feasible. I'm sure there's probably some people around here who would know a thing or two about this kind of stuff.

There are two big kinky camping events that take place in MD. They are not specifically for just tickling, but they are open to all fetishist/ BDSM players. If we ever got enough tickle people together we could have a tickle cabin/tent area. My husband and I have always tented because the cabins aren't fun unless you get a group of people you know or are like minded.

Awesome idea. Probably financially impossible for me, but I'd go if I could.

The thing about music camps is they appear to be pretty affordable, as in you typically own your gear, the experience is fairly individual, it's a learning event. .....It makes sense because it's supposed to be a positive event for people who can't live their hobby but want to feel like they're progressing.
This. ....to me just sounds like one of those porn expos I've heard about in my area that just last a day.

Well... look it was just an idea. *shrugs* Not everyone's going to like everyone's ideas so... To me it's better to talk about ideas rather than just shoot them into the waste bin.

It probably won't work as well as we hope, just because it's a big thing about egos and insecurities on both the male and female side of the equation. People have issues and they WILL bring them with them.

But I'd be all for it, myself.

I'm not trying to be down on you, just feeling like I've learned lately with sexuality/tickling etc it's more of a solo thing for people. Of course where music and tickling do intersect is the main factor is like they teach in real estate school, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.

The thing about music camps is...

The other thing about music camps is that they don't all take the idea of a "camp" quite so literally. I attended the National Guitar Institute's summer workshop in Belmont a bunch of years back, and although there was an option for the kids (it was an all-ages thing) to board at the school (U. of Notre Dame de Namur), there weren't any activities beyond the workshops. Definitely nobody playing dodgeball after hours.

That said, I think the biggest issues you face are cost, as you said, and getting a decent balance of attendees. I can guarantee you that you'll have far more men than women, they'll all be ticklers, and if they fork out lotso-bucks for attendance and no one there wants to play with them/is anyone they want to play with, they'll be right cheesed off. There's also the fact that you yourself said you wouldn't attend something like this... so if the person running it wouldn't go, why would I?

Like porcelaindoll said, though, these events do exist. I know someone who went to a similar retreat way back in the day, so if you're really down with the idea, don't let us rain on your parade; but you will have to address these issues in order for it to work.

I would love to hear from the organizers or campers of the last one to see what worked or what didn't work. Did it just fizzle out or was there a reason why it stopped? I would be all in for a tickle camp like this.....perhaps build on what was done before.

I tried to be explicit in the sense that I know money is the issue as it is for me... and I'd like to avoid that.

Anyway... you are right in the sense if the balance of women to men, or lers to lees is off some will be cheesed off. I'll inquire to the people who did the event above and see how they did it, and how it turned out.
