Darth Sidius is one of the few producers in this fetish industry that has successfully developed his own technologies that have protected himself and his clients from 3rd party/external abuse, piracy, among other things. He hosts his own e-commerce store. He also claims that he uses his companies technologies to make money on the side for consulting gigs. He has aggressively pursued lawsuits against people that have pirated his content, and apparently he's been victorious with some of these lawsuits.
I purchased a few of his videos a while back, but I lost them over time due to hard drive crashes. I am able to provide proof of the credit card transaction, order numbers and emails to verify that I am not trying to scam him. But he refuses to help me out here. His excuse is that "links expire after 10 days and he can't do anything about it", and after I tried to do everything objectively to explain that I am not trying to fraudulently take advantage of him, he just ignores me.
It amazes me that someone with his technological skills set, business mindset, and aggressive personality that he refuses to accommodate the people that have made him money in the past. I am not going to argue that I am a loyal customer that has spent tons of money on his videos. With his intelligence and skillset, he knows damn well that he can make sure that I am not trying to commit an act of fraud here.
His problem is that he is paranoid and doesn't want to even risk it.
So in my mind, his highest priority is to protect his business, his models and his own interests over anything else. It says a lot about his character as a business man and human being. He produces great content, no doubt about it. But ultimately, he has no compassion or empathy for his customers.
