I've also seen it said people don't have favorite "male models", they just want "a guy" for f/m content. Maybe to project themselves on them? But that's something I've seen argued; they don't want the guy to be anything other than a slab for the model to work over, since he isn't the focus of the video, the woman/women tickling is supposed to be.

I've always assumed that's the case, but why doesnt it work the same way for girls? Why do female lees want to watch a male nobody in a black sock tickle a girl with a face and a personality? Why can't the girl wear a black sock on her face so the female lee watching can project herself onto her? Like, why is it so different for male lees and female lees? I've been meaning to start a thread on this topic. It's something I've never understood.

Because clips are made mainly for male viewers. Males and females are just different. I always thought females don't watch tickling clips at all just because they see all that in a different way. And I never understood in which way, because I'm a male. Tickling clips are made for us to release this high sexual tension we get from being males among females, so we could survive somehow in all this madness of attractive women around us.

Tickle fetish guys seem to be really hung up on some of the content they like "being gay" than fetish women really care about. I think that has something to do with it.

That doesn't make it reasonable, no. But that seems to be the case.

Well, I know this is just me personally, and that I can hardly speak for every man, but for the record, I do have preferences for male 'lees, too, just like for female 'lees--there are certain guys and male "types" I like to see tickled more than others. Sure, I like to project myself into the tickling sometimes, but other times it's just fun to watch an attractive man with big feet and a little bit of beard get the crap tickled out of him...! XD

It works in the same way as vanilla porn and other fetishes involving men and women. You can just as easily question why the camera doesn't focus on the guy's face for too long in a standard porn scene?...why is 90% of the camera work on her body rather than his etc.

The explanation is simple enough - men buy the overwhelming majority of all fetish and other porn clips, whereas women very rarely buy any. That's why there isn't really a significant market for clips focusing on men, aside from the gay market. That's not to say that females don't watch porn or that straight males don't ever want to look at guys, but it is a mainly male audience that pay for it and for the most part they like the focus to be on the females. For further evidence of this, just see how many porn sites (of any variety) you can find that are aimed at a predominantly female audience compared to those aimed at men. It's just economics.
