Anyone know what's up with Stryker? His website has been down for a few weeks.

Stryker's old clips4sale store is still online with several of his earlier clips.

Stryker was awesome. I love his stuff! Lots of it would appear on other sites. He probably got sick of being pirated.

Yeah, the Stryker clips that I have are all aces. Sorry to hear he closed down.

He made a post about all the pirates ripping off his stuff and then ended up closing the website down. Can't say I blame him. His stuff and Tickle Abuse get ripped off constantly.

Makes me so sad. His site was my favorite. Loved the clips I bought from him, and I jumped for joy when I heard he was going to bring jaz colon back for another round last year. So sad to think I'll never see that clip. Wish someone else would pick her up, as she's amazing.

Where did he write that? I thought he was the producer with the least pirate problems because he can track everyone down.

Indeed he was. He even tried to sell me in on his proprietary method of preventing piracy. I was on his website a few weeks ago and I noticed that he hadn't actually released anything new in a while.

It's not the first time a producer closes shop. Unfortunately, this fetish isn't exactly a money making, well oiled machine that guarantees a comfortable retirement.

For a long time his stuff was the least likely to be seen on free sites, however, several full version clips are on pornhub.com now. It sucks for producers. Probably the most heavily ripped off is czechticklish girls. That producer will release a clip and it will be pirated on pornhub.com within a few days. Sucks for producers because there is no way to make a good living off this fetish anymore.

There are probably previous tickle models now in their early 40s out there that are horrified when they realize a clip they made in college, 20 plus years ago, is all over the internet right now. Back when they made clips in the late 90s and beginning of the 2000s, they never probably imagined being streamed all over the internet someday. It was probably around 2003, when kazaa and bearshare (or sharebear) was able to upload pirated videos on high speed internet, that producers started losing money (not to mention amateur models that didn't ever think they would be seen doing such clips, were being outed. Just look at model/actress Joanna Krupa, also known as Regina Bartkowski in fm concepts, and the girl from the original Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire that was outed nationally).

Agreed. Back in those days, it seemed like a good way to make some decent cash while putting themselves through school or whatever. Now days, they are all over pornhub with some of the dirtiest porn flicks one can find on the internet.

I purchased a few videos from Stryker, but I wasn't a huge fan of his work. Plus, I think sometimes he took himself too seriously.

Does anyone understand how tube sites exist when they blatantly break copyright laws all day everyday? Because it's porn, no one cares? I don't get it...

While I sympathize, many of these models have no idea what they are getting into when they choose to do any kind of adult content. They have no business experience and make mistakes that have the potential of haunting them. Even in this age of mass digital information, I still get models who email me asking for advice on how to remove their content from the internet when they want to retire. It's insane. They open Pandora's box and they want to put it all back. I just spoke with two models retiring. They are DMCA'ing everything of theirs on pornhub and finding that they can't, because they don't actually own the rights to a lot of it. They can only remove their own stuff and even then, someone just re-posts it on pornhub or another site.

Even worse, they sign contracts transferring the rights to many of their videos and photo shoots to producers or third parties who can either use them in perpetuity or sell said rights. There are any number of retired models who have active websites with their stage name as the domain and they not only have nothing to do with the site, they would very much like it to go away. Unfortunately, they signed away their rights to the content they made and can't do a thing about it.

Anytime a new model approaches me about getting into adult or fetish videos, I explain that they need to carefully consider whether they want this stuff floating out there forever. Even if they own it, the moment someone else has it, it's out in the wild and can return years later when they may not want it public anymore. I explain this to them and they tell me that it never occurred to them. Some decide to get into doing the vids anyway, understanding the potential risk, while others decide that its not something they want hanging around in 20 years. I've spoken with some models I would have loved to work with, but would much rather they walked away from something that they were uncertain about.

He was one of the most overbearing, self important, ignorant assholes on this forum. He took the piss out of models, competitors, and the general paying customer because he felt entitled to success he and his business ever earned. Was a lot of his early stuff pretty damn good? Yeah. Shit like Ticklish Promoter II was legit great.

But then he started lecturing about sexuality in clips...even though he used it himself. He constructed this elaborate sense that he was suffering from piracy...when reality was his stuff wasn't really collateral in those kinds of places.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel. ;)

Contrary to popular belief, he wasn't any of those things. Of all the times I've talked to Stryker, he was a really cool down-to-earth kind of guy who went out of his way to make the best material he could make. He was always grateful for the success he attained over the years and wanted nothing more but to provide the fetish community with great quality material anyone could enjoy. Many of the models he worked with were some of the hottest and coolest ladies to be around.

When he would use sensuality in his clips, he always did it with the utmost respect to those involved. He was always about his business and like any producer, didn't appreciate when his work would be pirated. He was always concerned for everyone he worked with and didn't want his work being offered freely on sites like YouTube, pornhub among others. So he did what he had to do to get his hard-earned work removed from these sites even if it meant bringing the copyright infringers to court.

So, you're entitled to your opinion, but don't go around insulting Stryker or his work. I firmly believe that he made the absolute best work I've ever seen come out of this community and if he chose to retire, I totally understand why and wish him nothing but the best in life.

It's a community, everyone has a right to express their opinion as long as it isn't flame baiting or trolling and you should already be aware of that. I would agree with meangry too; he was way too hard headed about his personal opinions, to the point that it affected his attitude and how he treated other people, especially with the sexual stuff, but I'm not going to over-analyze it. It's kind of interesting and unusual, though, that you think he produced the best content ever in this community. I think that may be the first time I've ever actually heard that from someone. To each his own though.

I think I purchased, over the years, about 7 or 8 of his videos. To his credit, he usually had pretty attractive looking models but that's kind of where it ended for me. His production quality was always excellent. There was something about most of his content that bored me though.

I don't disagree with how the community works, but as a loyal supporter, I wasn't going to stand idly by and let someone badmouth him. I don't believe he was hardheaded about his personal opinions, he was just passionate about how he felt and maybe it left some with hurt feelings, but he was entitled to stating his opinion. Personally, I could do without the sexual content many companies feel the need to include in many of their works but I realize it's different strokes for different folks. I like how Stryker did the Striking Soles Series clips as he kept it sensual and classy. Not saying that some sexual content can't be classy, but I just prefer it be kept sensual.

I do indeed believe in my opinion that Stryker put out the best product alongside Guilttrip and his Nylon Tickling store. Yes, I know I didn't mention Guilt before, but this time I made sure to. To me, it was a breath of fresh air to see that type of content being made that was fun and classy but also at times sensual. It is what it is though, like you said, to each his own.

This isn't just nostalgia ; but in terms of genuinely ticklish girls, no fluff non-sense, production quality (at the time), no stupid storylines and roleplaying, no repetitive sets, no playing around and ultimately just tickle torture - there are a few other companies that I would say easily outclassed Stryker in every category I just listed.

I've always been more partial to what Stryker did with his work. I always thought the storylines were great and many of the models he worked with were drop-dead gorgeous. His work always resonated with me on some level.

Most tickle producers including many that I like have repetitive sets, probably because a lot of them are amateurs filming in their own homes and quality bondage gear isn't cheap. The most important thing for me is the models. Seeing how 10 different women react to being tickled in the same setup is more exciting to me than watching the same overused model get tickled by 10 different producers.

And I can think of several producers that had tons of different models that were/are drop dead gorgeous. Again, I think Stryker is way overrated and he had one of the worst attitudes in the business.

As you said earlier, to each his own. Whether you liked him or not, Stryker made some kind of impact that has people talking about him months after releasing what may have been his last work.
