Hi! I've seen it too, it was shocking!! That said, please accept my appologies if I offended you! It wasn't my intention! All my best! :)"

No, offending him wasn't your intention, but getting a fantasy jolly in your head via a celebrity was.

This is why I hate the idea of asking celebrities if they are ticklish without the proper context that makes that question flow naturally.

Celebrities, especially in the entertainment fields, are not stupid. Men and women get sexual come-ons all the time.

And to this 1) the entertainment fields beginning the (admittedly very tough) process of battling sexual harassment and assault in the industry, and 2) a growing number of people becoming aware of fetishism, and it becomes very clear that posting the "innocent question" of whether someone is ticklish with no prompting comes off as creepy.

I would love for tickling to be seen as no big thing, but we have to call out this screwed-up behavior when it happens. Otherwise, these creeps make the rest of us look bad.

It's already seen as no big thing.
It's only seen as creepy when people like Josephine make it a side project.
If you're not pestering strangers with "Silly FanQ?"s, you don't have to worry about it.
Plenty of creeps on there with all kinds of creepy questions.

I long for the days when creepy meant "old, dark scary house" and not "overdramatizing things we find offensive."

The good old days when no one could figure out what you really up to?

I love how tickle people try and pretend it's all some silly, totally not sexual thing.

Great, our community is once again been put in a negative light, I get that folks want to know if a celeb is ticklish or not. But keep it to your self. Even if they are what are you going to do have a session with them HA

The worst are when people act like it's for college. "Hey, where are you ticklish? It's for my dissertation". Ummm how the hell does that even make sense?

And then get all butt-hurt when someone dares to use words like "creepy".

One way or another, everything is creepy. It's how you play it to your advantage that matters.

Statistics?

Sadly, as I've been here since the dark ages of BBS'es and Telnet, to the modern Internet with the TMF, YouTube, Twitter, and such, I've seen our community become the very poster child for perversion. It's not innocent anymore, most people I've crossed paths with have an "already listening" in their heads that this subject is creepy and sick. In this day every kind of kink gets representation on the internet; however, tickling has had three significant breakdowns. The first was DeSisto, who made Reader's Digest among numerous other sources. Then there's the fact that out of all the kinks, the ticklers tend to be the most, how to put it, crazed in their pursuit. They're pushy, they go after inappropriate opportunities (obvious underagers on YouTube, collegeagers with inappropriate boldness, etc). Finally, there's this new gawd damn documentary that came out that is getting a lot of notice. It offers an extremely unbalanced look at our community by agenda and there's word a sequel is already in the works.

There's a lot about this community that's aces. It gives me a place where I know I'm not a freak and I'm not alone. Most folks around here are good people who do good things. Sadly, that's not what sells documentaries.

Many Blessings,
MidnightX

And I suppose you never look to see what the Celebs response is, right? We all preach about how asking celebrities if they're ticklish is "creepy" or "weird" but everyone on this forum would click on a link to find the answer, if it was a celebrity they liked.

What if you don't like any celebrities? Think celebrities sit around wondering what normie lives are? ;)

Plus what's the benefit of knowing? They have their handlers.

You know I have to be blunt with you; any shit reputation tickle people have is largely because of the way tickle people behave. I'm into this shit as hard as anybody and they creep me right the fuck out routinely, image how someone who doesn't even realize it's a fetish perceives it. There's a documentary about the bad aspects of it... because some guy behaved like a godamn Batman villain to indulge his fetish. Of course that's going to garner attention. It's freakish and anybody should be able to recognize that.

That documenary was about the second wave of activity by 'Terri Disisto', who was David D'amato. Who's dead now.

What's the benefit of watching a hot girl in a porn video when you know you'll never meet her? It's all about fantasy

Now now, those are "girl next door" types lol. Idk man I'm not much of a watcher anymore. I kind of just keep to myself and look up girls here and there as I meet them. As I got older I just thought the fantasy of meeting celebs was. ..well, wishful at best.

I've been around long enough to remember DiSisto and how he used to act on the "alt.sex" boards back in the day. Definitely not the kind of person I want to be associated with.

I hope you're joking about there being a sequel to that awful movie.

What was awful about that movie?
It wasn't an indictment of the tickling "community" at all.
It showed that there was someone who had been using these contests as a way to feed much darker impulses.
The filmmakers made the distinction pretty clear.

I kind of doubt that anyone who watches documentaries is as simple-minded as that.

Guilt really isn't simple, is it?

Think about it. Just from the preview. It starts out "hey this is an interesting adventurous film" and progresses to "this is an interesting adventurous film. ...that got focused on some sick $!#@. ....how many more of these people are there? I don't want to think about it". I don't even think people are as open about it as we're being right here. I mean how many people (not even thinking about tickling) do you know that you'd have guilt by association just being around? Same shit, as far as I'm concerned.

Right, girl next door types. I wish I lived next door to Jenna Jameson
