I was thinking of when companies like them were the standard-bearers. Also thinking I would like to see some of their models being tickled the way lee's get tickled today, with the use of oil's, brushes, scrubbers, ect. Plus with the way we see ruthlessness and gang tickling. Anyway just a random rant.

I was always an admirer of Jeff's videos as well as Real Tickling. Personally, I prefer fingers on flesh tickling with girl-next-door type models. While I understand what you're saying and think it's a cool idea, I find today's videos tedious and mechanical. I have always admired the simple tie-up or pin down tickling.
Maybe the fact that feet are not my number one preference, I have grown to dislike videos using stocks or restraints that resemble stocks. Tie someone to a bed and straddle them and I'm a happy man.

Couldn't agree more with you, Max.
Magic Touch has always been one of my favorite studios.
Many thanks to you for Shannon stories by the way.

These were the first 2 tickle studios I ever came across.

Those were the first 2 tickling studios I came across too. I miss those companies too.

For those of us who came of age in the late nineties, Magic Touch and Real Tickling were unbelievable. I remember spending many a long night seeing the images and reading the descriptions of their clips, paying attention in my 20th century math class (in which they tried to prepare us for the rigors of adulthood) so that I would know enough about a credit card to be able to start buying clips.

It's a completely different world now - So many other choices, so many improvements in the video production world. It is far more professional now, but I'm not sure if it's nearly as passionate as it was back then.

My thoughts exactly.

Only real complaint about todays generation of tickling is a lot of the girls aren't over-the-charts ticklish. And too many porn stars are being used now days.

I blame some (not all) video companies for that. When I took a stab at making videos I never used the ones that didn't have real reactions. Jeff once told me that the key to a good video was a responsive model. Everything else was secondary. Sometimes because of nervousness, a ticklish model can seem unresponsive. Still, there is so much competition and so many more producers than when MT and Real T started that quantity many times works out better than quality. If they shoot 10 and 5 are amazing then it works out for them. It's also costly and time consuming to shoot a video.
As for porn stars, I agree. I don't want to see porn stars in a tickling video. That's not to say someone else loves seeing that. We all have so many individual tastes. My preference for tickle torturing an innocent or naive girl might not be everyone's cup of tea. Some like to see a tough, alpha girl get broken down.
I think it's important to give video companies feedback.
Back in the early 90's I wrote to Tony Sinclair of Cal Star and gave him a list of what I'd like to see: Dracula and Frankenstein fantasies,Phantom of the Opera, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and others. Those of you who lived back there know how that turned out.

I'd like to point out personal preference is more likely to blame than a conscious decision to use half-assed models. I think TMF thinks a lot of the population is thrashing, red-face, eyes bugging out of head ticklish and demands to see that in their tickleporn, and anything less is a copout. But someone is spending the money to make all these "fakers" profitable to keep hiring, no?

In my limited experience with video producing, I've had girls I thought were going to be widely popular not get more than a handful of vague compliments. Girls I thought really didn't react worth a shit, and indeed may have been faking some of their reaction, are far and away my most popular. What realistically can be done? Judge it on your own merits? If I only did that I'd have a webpage of people that evidently appealed to me and me alone. Everyone's sick of conga line of fakers and pornstars dominating Clips4Sale? I'm right there with ya!... except, wow... according to that best seller list those fakers and pornstars sure move those clips.

Obviously everyone wants to find someone you can barely touch who will go apeshit, laugh until she's horse, shake and struggle until the bedposts nearly break and somehow be able to last a half hour. There's a lot less of them out there than you'd think. But why settle for porn girls and fakers? Well, who the hell keeps buying those videos?

So now the problem is the world is suffering from a shortage of sensitive women that are willing to try something different, make a little cash on the side and have fun.

This has been debated to death but I think the main problem is that these women usually find out that their videos are going to be all over the internet; especially pornhub; and they don't want to risk it and are scared away forever.

I don't think a single week goes by when somebody on this site doesn't post a video from youtube or pornhub.

I also remember being distracted in class, daydreaming about RT preview videos that had just become available, c. 2000-2001. Not long after, I purchased a CD with three RT clips on it! I had to make sure I got to the mail before my parents did when it came. Many of you had VHS tapes; that wasn't something I was willing to risk hiding.

Indeed! One of my favorites was Jeff's For You #1: For Max featuring a lovely model named Mary. My favorite MTP model, however, was Farra. Both are on Pornhub but I don't know what policy is about linking there.

MaxSpeer coined the term "A-Team" to describe us.
I'm in A-team, in which A is for All-over :)
I really have no permanent preference for any ticklish area, maybe that's because I'm into tickling and ticklish reactions rather than body parts.

That definitely didn't work out so well for me. That's how I outed myself and my whole family learned about my fetish.

Stop killing the dream dude, there's gotta be some around the corner that just aren't willing lol.

Yup, remember back when I first came upon magict's site. good times.

MT and RT were my favorites. Jeff and RT really put a lot of emphasis into making you really WATCH their videos and just click. Plus with me I'm easily lured if the guy 'ler is sexy.

Big turn-off, and I can detect it within the first few seconds of watching a video, is fake laughter. Instant, epic fail.

Exactly. MagicTouch and early RT are paragons of genuinely ticklish lees, with no faking ever. This is so important and admirable. I just can't get the point in sharing videos with fake reactions, what's the fun in making such clips?

How many times do I have to point out that this is wrong before you stop banging that particular drum?

Is it worth it to - yet again - mention that there are plenty of studios out there using those "real girl next door" types that you so desperately crave, but you don't care because they're not Tickle Abuse, or whoever is the go-to studio du jour these days? We just got a new studio post a preview in the Videos section claiming he's the only one using "real girls off the street". I swear, it's like an urban legend that just won't fucking die. I've been saying "I don't hire fakes" and "my girls aren't porn stars" until I'm blue in the face. If that really mattered to y'all I'd be doing a hell of a lot better than beer money every month.

While I do agree that video sharing is an issue... it has absolutely nothing to do with why women don't do videos for us. I mean, c'mon, use your brain; by posting the video AT ALL (for sale, with promo thumbnails and clips), it's "all over the Internet" - because, private member sites notwithstanding, all of our storefronts are public. The one girl I worked with for whom this was an issue, her boyfriend found my web site somehow and saw her video for sale. PornHub never even entered the equation.

So knock off that "Pornhub is scaring off all the real girls" bullshit. You only want "real girls" if they come from the "right" studios. The rest is just a smokescreen.

I did love Farrah and Mary, though. Jeff was The Man.

RT... best memories with that studio, as it brought me to the next lvl in some way. Before discovering it, it was more likely in my head, and after I've stumbled upon RT it started to be...a REAL thing :D Dee, Audrey Dupree -aw, those memories! :)
Anyway, the so called 'sex market' found even the tickle industry - that's sad. Sometimes finding an actually ticklish model is hard :p But idk, maybe there are ppl who like to watch, for example, Christy Mack being tickled - for me it's a huge misunderstanding. I mean as a 'ler, sure, but as a 'lee... it's embarrassing to watch how a non-ticklish person is acting ;P

For those of us who've been around long before TMF, and even before the internet was in every home, the idea of seeing ANYTHING about tickling was unique and exciting. The early films of the 80's rarely had women as beautiful and reacted so perfectly as many of the big producers of today.I almost feel silly when I say that I find stocks scenarios so tedious now. I used to have 600 videos locked away in my house on VHS tapes and even Beta! (What the fuck is Beta???) The scenarios, for the most part sucked, the "models" were homely and some were kinda pretty.Still, I watched them like until they were worn out. Remember Cal Star? Not the best company, but the biggest at the time.
I met Jeff very soon after he released his first Mary videos, and I remember his motivation. We had numerous conversations and the crux of many of them were the need to make unrehearsed, no theme, first time tied and tickled videos. No pros, no scripts. If they reacted with explosions of laugher, great - if the reactions were less, so be it. The point is that his company was born out of the necessity of breaking away from bad acting and bad scripts and returning to what we loved about tickling - the spontaneous reaction.
I'm not a fan of porn, but porn stars are people too (sounds like a great reality TV show) and whether you are a porn star or a college student, if you're ticklish you're gonna react. I don't know what model I see is a porn star. I shot a few videos with Jennifer Toof when she was a 19 year old college student. She went on to become a character in a reality show and did some nude modeling. I knew her to be a sweet girl (even felt sorry for her when Jeff tickled her so intensely that she cried).
