Thanks!! With stuff that's bordering on non-con I like to try to set it apart from the real world settings somehow. I feel like that disconnect softens it up, or something. At the very least, I think it gives better context to it since those times were known to be harsher for women, and lower-class people in general.

Yeah... I wanted to write "submissive" on the placard, but I couldn't fit all the letters. The idea is that shes there because she wants to be, wheras the rest is a strange twist on the gallows and is a punishment.

Not clear, I know, but sometimes I think I over-indulge when I post my pieces, so this time I opted to just post and not give my artistic commentary... probably a bad piece to start that with.

It's good! This one it's easy enough to figure it out, just glad to have confirmation on the backstory / headcanon for this one. Still love it.
