Listen, I have to say, I understand not everyone has the budget for their therapy, but this piracy thing is killing producers. You want to know why I haven't produced? Because every time I do, within minutes its stolen. I don't know what your perception is of us as producers, but besides maybe 1 producer that has been around for years and years and years, none of us make real money anymore. I literally make $60 to $100 bucks on my store every month. I am done dealing with it. You wonder why people like myself and others are stopping their producing? Because EVERYTHING WE MAKE GETS STOLEN. How would you feel if you spent hours and hours at work and then you came home, put your money down on the table, and it just disappeared. Disappeared. Not only did it disappear, but your shitty roommate that just stole your money comes back with MORE money that he made off of YOUR MONEY and he doesn't share. That is what is happening right now. DO NOT BUY MEMBERSHIPS TO PIRATED MATERIAL! It is KILLING us. You want people who LOVE tickling to produce? Stop viewing their material on pirated websites. If you are in tune enough to be on this website, then you are in tune enough to help the people that give you your release. I don't care if you already watched it a million times, please donate to our stores by purchasing the clip you just watched for free if you can. Its killing us. And because these sites are based in foreign countries, we cannot DMCA all of them. It costs 250-500 dollars PER MODEL. This is killing our community and video progress as a fetish. Please. Help us help you.

Sincerely,

Kelli Lynn Sage

What if TMF made something that members could pay for? What if the producers came together and each took a piece of "TMF Premium". I'd be willing to contribute to something like that. Obviously not easy to organize but I think it's a good idea.

What about the Kink.com model. Kink.com produces hour long content. When you purchase a Clip from them, you aren't purchasing the actual digital file, you are purchasing access to stream the content that they retain. Now I'm not a genius when it comes to server space and the like, but I have to imagine that there is a way to better protect content. I am sorry for your troubles Miss Sage. You are a true gem of our community.

That's brilliant. I'm in complete sympathy with the producers and their plight. Wish I could help put something like your idea together.

I understand your frustration and piracy is wrong. Period.

From a customer point of view i think the answer is streaming. I haven't bought a clip in ages, for various reasons, but not least because this whole credit card, download, watch cycle which once felt pretty awesome has become tiresome. Music, movies, audiobooks are all streamed. And apart from the download process, it means you don't have to spend your money based on a preview (which in many cases itself has to be downloaded!) - it you don't like a clip you just move on. it seems C4S has made enough money and is happy die along with the download model. Hopefully others will fill the gap.

People know and don't care. You'll often find posters here who will say it's your fault for not making it harder enough to prevent them from stealing and posting shit.

It's a terrible little community.

Don't forget the ones who claim that stolen clips are "free advertising" that producers should be thankful for.

If there's one thing I like to see in calls for help, it's someone talking down to me.

I hear ya Kelli. I tend to watch the clips you producers post, then decide whether to purchase or not. Then again, because of finances, tends to be not. However, I won't try to track down a freebie play on some other site. Don't have the time, and I know it screws the producer if I do so. If I help run you guys/gals out of business, what do I gain? I don't have an answer to how to stop it, but I'm in full support of anything that might help. We certainly want to see more of your work, gal....

To everyone who is complaining about Kelli's post, none of us are innocent in the streaming of tickle vids on pornhub and other sites. It's time we all gave back before we lose people like Kelli, Tasha/Tommy from TA seems to be gone and all of my other favorites of the past 10 years have slowed down.

More than likely this is caused by our neglect. Me included. Let's help our friends out.

I agree!! My work has been stolen and redistributed all over the place and I've had enough!! I'm with you sister!!

Me and Kelli just had this discussion yesterday. So many people are giving money and views to sites that steal and could give two shits about you guys. We lose models and money daily from this when all we are doing is trying to help give you guys kickass content. So help us so we can give you guys more!

In the spirit of this topic, that blog I run is no longer free to view. Content is now behind a paywall.

Now in no way am I insinuating I'm a Tickle Room or Tickle Abuse or anything. But any little thing I can do to spite you people at this point is a go.

This thread should be moved to the main Tickling Discussion forum, so it doesn't get buried as new video clip previews are posted. And more people can see it and have input.

My input....maybe there is no way to stop the piracy (especially since it may be coming from other countries) and there is no answer.

If the morality of paying pirates for stolen content isn't enough to stop people, maybe this is: The pirates usually get their stuff by buying clips with stolen credit cards, do you really want to give your card info to credit card fraudsters? Seems pretty stupid to me.

Guys I think its high-time now TMf should go Premium. This will discourage creeps and prevent plagarism/piracy to a great extent.

(Posting under a new alias, but I've been a long-time clip purchaser and donor to many of these producers.)

This is a major issue that I hope gets resolved in any way possible. I'll flat out admit, I was guilty of it 9 years ago when piracy was first becoming a problem. But I quickly learned about the plight of these producers, and I've made tens of thousands of dollars in contributions to the community over the years through clip purchases, custom video orders, and even private sessions. I now am completely embarrassed that I ever tried pirating any kind of material back in 2008.

If it takes something like personal donations or premium subscriptions to keep everyone in business producing material, please let us know, because some of us are more than willing to tribute what extra money we have to make new content continue.

We're really at that point where streaming service content should be the norm, with low price paywalls and an end to end user owning content. The accessibility to Pornhub and other specific piracy sites that you don't have to look far to find really necessitates this...as does the fact that content as currency doesn't even have the same presence as it used to in the pirate communities.

As a new clip producer, what should I look for or where should I look for to see if my material was stolen or not? This thread worries me a lot...should we start using the streaming option on C4S over the downloading option...personally I prefer to download clips from producers...I've spent a lot of money over the years....and I mean a lot, I believe I have over 3000 clips legally downloaded, I never downloaded anything illegally knowing that clip producers we're not the richest people in the world, specially not in the early days. I have so many clips from different producers that I actually save them in there own named folders...tickle abuse, tickle intensive, tickle room...etc.

Oh yeah, lol, you should totally check out Alyssia and Tatianna my 2 latest models :)

Unfortunately, streaming isn't the barrier people think. There are very simple programs to grab complete streams. In my search to ferret out our own content, I've come across content that was only available as a stream and the whole movie was a downloadable mp4 clip that someone pulled.

We've been doing this rodeo longer than almost anyone in the tickling community. Twenty years now. It sucks, but the reality is that pirates are always going to pirate and people are always going to be lured by easy access. My own philosophy is that the people who download the pirated material A) were never going to pay for it to begin with or B) can't afford to pay. Either way, they were never going to be customers. No sales are really lost to them. It's the potential customers who are seduced by the easy access of places like pornhub and other sites and forums. Those are people who might have been customers. You can try to appeal to their conscience or ethics as Kelli is doing. I don't know how successful you'll be.

The next thing to do is make it as hard as possible for the casual down loader, the one that might be a customer, to find your content readily available on pirated sites. Our stuff is not easy to find. You can find it, but not usually with a general search. You have to work at it. The people who put in that kind of effort will never buy your content and we don't chase after them much. Too much trouble for what amounts to people who will never pay for our content. If we come across their cache, we get it removed. It's usually renamed and hidden behind private blocks, but we have ways of finding it. But truthfully, it's the surface stuff that anyone can find that we remove regularly. That is the easy stuff that the less experienced/engaged down-loader will go to.

Places like pornhub are easy to get rid of surface stuff. A lot exists in private and that is harder to find, but its also often not viewed much. I have seen our stuff and other popular clips with a dozen views and its been up six months. That's really nothing. Its private and only a handful of people might see it so it doesn't impact producers as much as they might think. It's the public stuff. The stuff easily found with thousand or tens of thousands of views that can cause you more grief.

In my opinion, the biggest problem for the tickling community is the site devoted to pirating nothing but tickling videos. That fuck head is straight up reselling producer's content for subscriptions to keep2share. We've pulled a lot of content down off his site. He keeps coming up with new ways to put it up, but eventually we get it taken down. He hosts thousands of clips on that site of his, which is hosted in a country with zero copyright concerns. You want to start putting a dent in piracy? Go fuck with him and start taking your clips down. Troll pornhub saff and vk.com. Easy places people go with minimal effort. Don't waste time trying ferret out whats deep under the surface. Anyone going that deep is never going to buy from you. I know there is the principle and you don't want anyone having your stolen content, but the reality is you only have so much time to spend on cleaning up your pirated content so stick with the stuff that is easy to find. Those that download because of ease of access won't get seduced by it being right at their fingertips for free. I know its not what producers want to hear, but it's worked for us and we're still in business. You have to look at it financially. Is it worth expending time and energy tracking down pirated material that's downloaded by people who will never buy from you? My answer is no and that's why i don't really bother looking for the secret and hidden cache's. Not worth the expenditure of time and energy.

How has the mainstream porn model survived? Or is that business dying as well? Can you look at their methods and adapt your models?

I'm very glad to see that people are really aware of this problem. Illegal free download is complete shit. We all agree with this. And this is the first really good and positive point of this topic.

I'm surely a pessimistic person but I really think that there's actually no way to solve this problem. Internet is too fast, too big, too "too much".

As a french legal expert, I can assure you that voting new laws or anything would be too slow to help us. We simply can't solve this this way.

As a musician first and a tickle video producer too, I'm subjected to illegal download too. I'm quite sad but have no choice, I remember that I work for the sake of LOVE and it helps me to continue. Each mail, each dollar, even the slightest thing like a little "good job" is enough for me to feel happy and stay motivated to work. I think everyone is in the same case here. We just have one problem : money. We must pay the C4S commission for each clip we sell and it costs us A LOT. But this is the price to be seen.

So my only proposition to help is the following one : if you're not used to buy clips, just try to buy one per week, even the cheaper one you find, it will be more than nothing for us. I'm aware of each dollar coming from you all in my studio, it affects me deeply each time and I do my best to provide "not too expansive" videos. I don't have a lot of money today, I'm doing my best to earn my living day per day and I'm struggling hard. But buying clips from the studios I love is a real part of my struggle because I really NEED to see tickle videos. It shows me the beautiful side of life, the playful joy of being...a human being.

It's like a virtuous circle : the more producer will sell, the cheaper their clips will be. If everyone plays the game, things would surely change.

I've got a last thing to say : thanks everyone for your empathy and full support :flapflap:

I dont know if this works
But , can you get the money before producing a clip???
Like Advertising sth in the video?
In this way, pirates are going to help you!
I mean, the ad will be seen more when the video is pirated and the advertisers will be happier with more piracy!
At least it may work for big producers....
Its the best solution i can think of...but i dont know if it works

I wonder if the explosion of so-called 'ransomware' attacks will make people who use pirate sites nervous. Seems like a pirate site would be a pretty good place to deploy an attack.
The average person is probably congratulating themselves for the ingenuity to find this material and watch it without paying that they might not notice the threat.
Perhaps we need someone smart here to use a ransomware program to discourage pirating. I'm not suggesting extortion, but strong suggestion?
Outside of anything illegal it does seem hard to find a solution robust enough to withstand technological advances but simple enough to be useful to the ordinary producer.
