Restif - holy moley....this is a truly ass-kicking display of ticklish art and hotness!!! I loved it. Not even sure what else to say.

The Psychic Deetoes.

The solid concept and unique episodes of Restif’s BBA hits even more in this episode in a comic form. Even from the start, I would mean the first 4 episodes, the plot is strong and interesting, especially if you love rustic scenes and adventures. Then, I could tell from the intricacies the ‘labor of love’ executed in each rendered panels to express the barefoot adventures of the heroine, and spiced by intense tickling. The women ARE gorgeous, btw and the scenes are ambient. Do collect the series and don’t miss it!

Restif's 3d art is really the BEST that is available out there. You won't find anyone, not just in fetish art but also in the whole freaking Internet, who draws (for lack of a better term; maybe "create" is more appropriate) more attractive, realistic females. He is the Bouguereau of fetish art: bestowing a spark of life to inanimate barefoot beauties like no one.

He's got a deviantART where he posts a metric ton of free stuff, quite generously so. I suggest you check it out here. In particular, if you are a bona fide fetishist this or this should press all the right buttons for you, as it did me Restif doesn't just kill the competition, he murders it, taking 3d art to stratospheric quality levels.

I must confess that among all his creations, I have a marked preference for strong brunette Adrea to Lynette, the eponymous protagonist of the Barefoot Archaeologist series. No problem with Lynette; she is very sexy and she significantly became sexier in the later issues. It is also a pleasure to see her tortured mercilessly in every installment; she looks like someone who's awesome to torture and humiliate. But to borrow Twilight fans' vocabulary, I am definitely more "team Adrea" than "team Lynette". You may now pelt me with scathing sarcasm, I do deserve it

Another thing about this series that oddly enough has never been bought up (unless I missed it) is how original and well-designed the backgrounds and scenery are. Ruined temples, prisons, dungeons... There is a real "pulp" vibe to them which I find really appealing.

My only criticism of the series is two-fold. I think the level of sadism could be cranked up a few notches. It is not really a problem per se (to each one their own taste) but personally, I find that the interrogation scenes would be better if the tickling were a little more intense, desperate or torturous. Right now, the difference between the playful tickling scenes that occur between the girls (at home for instance) and the more suspenseful torture scenes is not marked enough. The other thing I think could be improved is the plot. I do not find the story and the stakes very thrilling so far (in MTJ, it is usually when a series reaches its 5th issue or so that things get really interesting); maybe TBA could benefit from the involvement of seasoned in-house writers such as Bandito or Colin who have done such a wonderful work on other series? Or even Morandilas, as a throwback to the excellent The Foundry, a longtime favorite of mine?
