Hi everybody :)

I'm in the US on business and I was visiting times square.
I stopped by a starbucks at 39th street to cool off, when I saw this pretty brown girl.

I asked her for bar recommendations as an excuse to talk to her, and she was very polite. I quickly realised I was 99% sure she was Prya. I was too shy to ask, as it doesnt seem like she is the kind of person who likes to talk about that.

Just thought I'd share that with you guys. Who knows, maybe she'll even see this post! :D

If I ever recognized a tickle model, I'd definitely talk to her! I'd offer to buy her a drink and chat her up about her career. That being said, I understand that she would not necessarily be open about it to the point of talking about it in a public place. Nor that she would necessarily like her friends or relatives to know about it. I am sure a Kelli Lynn Sage or Taylor Raz would be frank about their experiences, as would be the more "professional" models hired by FTKL for instance, but in my understanding they would be more the exception than the rule.

I still have hope of meeting Ambre, Eva, Véronique or Laurine of Frenchtickling during one of my trips to my homeland~

Prya's my favorite of all time, but I doubt I'd ask her about the tickle stuff either. As it's been relayed to me, evidently she was outed in enormously humiliating fashion to both family and her job, I doubt she wants to hear some random approach her about it.

Still though, good show.

Yeah, I just got a very innocent vibe from her so I didn't want to make it awkward in a public place.

It was definitely an interesting experience though!

Damn :( Who would do that, thats so horrible.

It wasn't deliberate, it's just that most tickle fetish people are awful and fling videos everywhere they can and "Fuck 'em if they're found. Shoulda thought of that before you did them!".

Well, that's the end result of that attitude. Your favorite model gets humiliated and you never see her in a video again.

Exactly why maintaining the integrity of videos is so important. People can be so selfish and don't think about all of the consequences of their actions. I hope some read your statement Comfort and re-evaluate the next time they think about doing so.

^ For sure. These are real people we are dealing with. There are real consequences for your actions.

Oh wow nice! I've only ever met tickling models through sessions and fetish party situations so I can't imagine what seeing one off the street would be like.

I would definitely approach her but I tend to geek out when I meet people I admire so she would have known something was up :p

Wooow, okay! :yowzer: I hadn't thought about that! Wow, that definitely puts things in perspective! I can be so naive at times

I'll think twice before I approach a model, then. I do not want to be that guy who would make her feel uncomfortable. Remember Lost Highway? "We have met before..." "Where?" "In your house..."

Still I think curiosity would win eventually, and I'd at least have a casual chat. If I ever was lucky enough to meet Kristin Lea, Priscilla James, Kelli, Tasha, Tay, Bianca or the Frenchtickling models I just mentioned, I'd still be straightforward about it, come what may. Those girls look too much like they enjoy what they do to be offended by an admirer.

Actually, some of them were just in it for the money. Don't make assumptions based on projecting your feelings onto what you saw in a video. Look at this way...there is a reason these girls have stage names. Almost none of them use their real names. The fetish world is one part of their life and they have the world outside of it. Most of these girls do not want these two worlds to meet. Even most of the high profile ones would prefer to be whomever they are in their normal life and not be approached by random strangers who recognize them. This is not Hollywood. As much as porn and fetishes are more acceptable now, they both still have stigmas and taboos in various circles including jobs, family and friends. Appreciate them from a distance, but let them be. If they wanted the attention, they would still be in the business or actively meeting fans.

You are absolutely right! I would not exaggerate the "social stigma" but I cannot ignore it either. But still, as long as they've done the shooting, even anonymously so, they still should accept that some people at some point will see it. And admire them for it.

I do not think I am projecting anything on them though; I see them for the talented artists they are, and others should treat them as such. Families and coworkers included... in an ideal world ;)

It's not an ideal world, so let them be. Appreciate their work and leave it at that. Knowing many models, I speak from candid conversations with them.
Most are not interested in meeting fans outside specific venues or arrangements. Honor their privacy.

Fair enough.

I must say I like your take on the fetish world. You and another guy named Solemates usually have very interesting thoughts to contribute to discussions from a professional point of view

:goodjob:

I just have a lot of experience with models. You may be a bit naive about approaching models, but some of your fellow tickle fetishists are downright idiots. I've gotten many completely sincere e-mails asking me to A) disclose a models real name and some combination of phone number, email or address so they can get in contact with them in real life or B) approach me pretending to be a "male model" interested in work when all they want to do is get frisky with the models. Most fans are respectful. There are a few that are skeevy pervs with no moral compass.

:yowzer:

You see, this is exactly what I was talking about: we mere customers have no idea of what's going on in your professional life. And what the models expose themselves to. Makes their contributions all the more valuable, in light of what's happening when the camera stops running. I had no idea about literally anything you wrote, though come to think of it, I remember Solemates complaining about a guy who fell very much in the B category on another thread. Guess I am not skeevy enough ;) (I must confess I had to look that word up !)

So, the guy just happens to run into a model who's known for being outed in a very unpleasant circumstance, and decides to join the TMF and post about it, thinking maybe she'll see this post?

Doesn't that seem like a slightly dickish move?

I think many in our community understandably forget that not every fetish producer is one of us, and I'm betting most models are not "into" our fetish, at least to the extent that we are. We, of course, "live" the fetish, but for most involved in production, it's a BUSINESS. I'm not talking cold, hard greed, but many models do all kinds of fetish videos, not just feet/tickling. I realize I shouldn't be speaking for all clip makers, but if you go to many tickling/foot clip makers at clips4sale, our stuff is only part of their offerings, which is fine. Only amateur video makers are almost certainly "one of us" and even then, many of them and their wives/girlfriends/models don't want to be outed either. I've closeted my fetish all my life and can't imagine ever revealing it to anyone outside our community.

Have met a couple of models and have a friend who has worked with most of the "name" models of the 80s/90s (he is an amateur photographer). Only one out of a couple of dozen he has dealt with is actually into fetish in any way. Many will say publicly that they are into the lifestyle because it is believed to boost sales and potential session work - there have been many threads here about how people don't want to buy videos with fake laughing, etc. Most oversell their reactions again - because it is believed to be better for sales.

I do not pretend that this covers every situation or model, but most seem to be very attractive women who thought they'd make a living off their looks in acting, mainstream modeling, etc, found out just how competitive things were, and began to side hustle in things like stripping and bondage/fetish video for $$$. Its viewed as a more palatable alternative to actual adult XXX work.

As for approaches, again, not everyone is the same but most do NOT want to be recognized in public. Three quick anecdotes on point. One model was out with a friend at a bar in LA and was approached by a fan - effectively disclosing her history to her friend who knew nothing about it. Another model lost a job as hostess at a high end restaurant, management let her go because she was recognized several times for her fetish/adult work. And finally, one model was approached in a grocery store with "Excuse me, are you _______?" ... while she was with her fourteen year old daughter if you can believe that. I can definitely relate to the starstruck aspect and the desire to "confirm" its who you think it is and perhaps chat a bit but seems to me you should be very discreet and mindful of the circumstances. As was mentioned earlier, most of them use a stage name for reasons - they want to keep what they do out of their regular lives.

Absolutely adore the video of her being tickled in sheer black nylons. It's one of my all time favorites.

Interesting that there are some in our community who are so open about The Fetish in public. I used to think people who appear in pics/videos here are relatively safe from problems at work or elsewhere because I figured that if anyone calls you out at work, in public, etc., that person is outing themselves as part of our community. Maybe we're gaining some level of acceptability. Hell, S&M used to be non-existent in the mainstream. The most you might hear on '70s TV or film is "She likes it rough" or somesuch. Now, every dopey college/bro comedy seems to have an obligatory dominatrix scene. (Hopefully, our fetish will never become a cliché joke.)

Who says they're open about their fetish in public?
