Generating music from tickling

Hey there, folks!

I've been working on a way to turn play sessions into musical compositions. It's super geeky (and eventually freaky ), I know, but hopefully something interesting will come of it.

At the moment the setup consists of a Raspberry Pi Zero computer and some sensors. Here's a link to a picture of the prototype using a heart rate monitor and a compass:

I've been thinking about trying to get a munch together in Atlanta using a brainstorming session about the device as an icebreaker.

SoundCloud doesn't seem to want to show me those audio sequences, but I think that sounds innovative and seldom explored. (By the title I guessed you were talking about using the sound of laughter in compositions, something I once wrote fiction about.)

Whoops! I forgot to set the permissions to public. The links should work now. There's no laughter in there yet, but I was hoping later compositions would both mix in laughter and use either pitch or volume to control what gets generated.

Old thread I realize, but fascinating idea. Did anything come of it? I'd be interested to see the results.

Pretty interesting. I know it's been a while but have you made anything new out of it?
