With the Packers playoff hopes hanging by a thread, Aaron Rodgers has been cleared to play. Obviously most GB fans want him back and he is chomping at the bit to get back on the field. However, even if they "run the table" they still might not make the playoffs. With that in mind, I wonder if he'd be better off just sitting out the rest of the season and focusing on getting his shoulder back to 100%.
They have a great defense this year and gave the mighty Steelers a run for their money with a backup quarterback. I personally would rather have him play, but I'd eat those words if he caused further damage to his shoulder, especially if it turns out they can't make the playoffs.
Any thoughts?
