Is there anything illegal about paying someone to let you tickle them? Assuming that you don't do anything explicitly sexual.
 
Last I'd heard New Jersey and Pennsylvania classify pay for fetish play under prostitution. So it is illegal in those states. The other states I don't think it's a problem but you can look up the laws in your area just to be sure.
 
Ultimately it depends on whatever your States laws are, but usually as a rule it tends to be legal as long as there is absolutely nothing sexual happening. This not only includes intercourse(Both vaginal and anal), but also any type of job ie hand-jobs, foot-jobs, and blow-jobs. Also no cunnilingus or queening either. Now there's some people that will try to tell you that sexual acts can be on the table for a certain price, but I believe a true serious respectable BDSM professional who cares about her job and reputation would never offer any acts that an escort or prostitution would offer. That's not to say that they don't exist though, but I'd still say generally it's not the case. Also trust me when I say if you do happen to find a professional BDSM player that also gives happy endings the last thing other professionals who don't offer escort or prostitution services (Like myself.) want to hear from potential clients when you're trying to set up a session is whining about how mistress so-and-so did it.

Sorry if I went off on a tangent long story short you should be fine. I even freelanced and worked at a dungeon in Pennsylvania never had any problems.

In New York State, instead of trying to define every possible kind of erotic activity in the laws about prostitution, the legislature just made a law that says to accept money to do anything that causes another human being to become sexually aroused is prostitution. Thus, if tickling that person causes you to be sexually aroused, then under the law here in New York State that person is subject to being prosecuted for prostitution and you are subject to being prosecuted for using the services of a prostitute.

Obviously, such prosecutions are not a high priority in the district attorney's office.
 
i have from time to time attempted to indulge this fetish with a local escort. I've had some success. Usually when contacting them initially they will either not reply or tell me they are probably not the girl for that, but sometimes they recommend another that would do it. Just if you do attempt to go this route, stay off of backpage or craigslist and find a forum that is specifically designed for this purpose. I would leave links or suggestions but fairly certain that would be frowned upon by mods, and I may get some hate from even breaching the subject like I have. Do use caution out there. I know that here in Oklahoma they crack down on prostitution pretty hard and justify it by "human trafficking", yet the majority of busts involve women close to 40 years old that are doing it either because they want to or the sadder situations where they need to support a drug habit-which is why I recommend staying off backpage.

i have a guy friend who uses both craigslist and backpage to indulge in his tickle fetish, he strictly posts 20 or older for the job strictly tickling and bondage. he told me in his experiences he met some nice laid back people, and some drama cases that classify it as prostitution, but no sex was exchange only tickling. which i find very silly and stupid how tickling could be classified as prostituion if your just being paid to tickle, i had a huge debate about that with him.
but according to him if you even get turned on or a boner, its considered a sex act? human trafficking only applies if its a minor. if its a woman whos legal age willing to do this and you have there consent your fine. just make sure you ask for there ID and do background checks, and be super careful, since theres so many sexual harassment cases going on lately i would make some kind of release form for whoever your hiring to tickle you to sign some stuff before playing, saftey first!

It makes ya wonder though... would they have to test to see if you get a boner when tickled? How would it work if a woman had done the hiring? See if her nipples get hard? Maybe test the wetness of her panties? :D
 
In MN it skirts a very fine line. Tickling? No problem. Tickling the genitals? Big problem.

For the most part, I like living here in NYC. But some of our laws (like this one) are just ridiculous.

My college major was Political Science, and trust me, there are many laws like this that lack any objective standards to determine if the law was broken or not. :)

It is hardly the only law that seems to require reading the defendant's mind. In the end, it is up to a jury to decide if the DA wants to prosecute it.
