It's All-Star Weekend again and I'm pumped!! One thing I want to bring attention to though is the actual all Star game.
For multiple years in a row now the all star game has turned into a glorified practice with the NBAs best players. Especially on a Sunday night I'm not going to waste my time watching a game that the players don't give a f*** about. I understand you're not playing for a championship but when I see a defender being approached by another player and they just side step to allow a dunk or alley oop it makes me sick. The players try to cater to non basketball fans by being flashy and playing no defense for 90% of the game but neglect the real fans that paid to watch a competitive game with the most talented players in the world going against each other...something that only happens once a year. I know I can't be the only one that thinks this.
The rest of all star weekend is a spectacle, the 3 point contest is always great and the dunk contest is either good or bad, this year has some high flyers with Dennis Smith jr and Donovan Mitchell - 2 rookies that's gonna be insane!

Klay Thompson will win the 3 point contest
Stephs team is gonna win the all star game if they actually play. If it turns into a shit show then who knows.
