The ticklingi industry as I see it.

Before a start this thread I would like to be clear about something. I'm not looking to get into a battle of words with anyone my feelings about the state of the tickling business is what I'm going to express here in this thread everyone has a right to their opinion and you can agree with me or disagree and you can post your opinion here on this thread but I am not looking to get into a battle of words were things can get ugly.

I was spending anywhere from $30 to $50 a month on clip stores or websites about 18 months to 2 years ago now I'm barely spending $30 to $50 a year. This is alarming as a consumer that tells me something's wrong with the product it just seems like most clip stores about 90% of them just strap a girl to a bed or in the stocks and tickets her there's no reason there's no plot there's no storyline there's no fantasy involved everything that used to be what sold in the past it just seems like everyone is just doing the same clip just using a different model same stocks will just put a new model in it and then if you end of the day you spend your money and then you say to yourself what did I spend my money on I got this clip the last time just a different model.

Some problems I have ran into:

Recently I had one clip store email me and expressed how they miss my business, I haven't bought any clips in quite some time, my reply was your not doing anything I like anymore they returned an email asking me what I like their follow up email after I sent them an email letting them know what I like and what I used to buy from their clip store basically was yes we're not doing clips like that anymore hopefully we will get your business in the future well my immediate thought is you're not gonna do what I like I'm pretty sure you're not gonna get my business in the future.

Another clip store sent out a mass email about a year ago or so to all its customers seemingly (there was a good handful of emails) expressing their thoughts on getting feedback from all of their customers on ideas and things that they can do in the future to keep their clip store fresh and keeping the customer's interest in the product after about a couple of months or so that same clip store email all those mass emails and expressed how overwhelming the feed back was and are not sure if we're going to be able to honor all of your request and ideas, here again you have to take a step back and say to yourself well you reached out to us.

For me I may be part of the minority of the members here TMF I want a plot , a storyline you know give me the MILF college professor who's being tickled by the sorority girls or even better yet the sorority hazing tickling the the roommate who's upset with her other roommate for flirting with her boyfriend whatever the ideas and the plots could be endless again I may be a part of the minority I don't know.

I don't understand for the life of me why clip stores use men as a tickler or Especially as a ticklee if you've noticed and I could be the only one that noticed this when you watch a clip store that uses a male tickler it's a guy that usually looks overweight disheveled and it just looks like he's getting his jollies by tickling a female it's not a turn on for me I'd like to think that I'm not alone in that thought process.

Now I've had clip stores reach out to me and say Hey if you don't like what we're doing we can do a custom OK great they send you or they advertise a list of models I choose the model I want to be a ticklee, they tell me all she doesn't like being a ticklee OK then why she listed as a model for a custom clip under tickling it doesn't add up. I have no problem spending whatever a custom clip cost but when I don't get the clip or when I do send the storyline or plot I want I don't expect to be told we don't use that girl or we don't do that plot or storyline.

Again this is all just my opinion if you agree with me great if you disagree with me that's OK to, either way if you wanna voice your opinion on this thread that's fine but I don't wanna get into a back-and-forth mudslinging ugly argument with anyone. I'm just trying to get the websites and clip stores Taking care of what's best for the customer

My question is, You are only pleasing a percentage of the consumer, don't you want to please all of the consumers in the tickling universe? Another words grab everyone's business?

Also what about doing recycled clips for Example tie up a model tickling her or put her in the stocks, it's the same clip just different models what happened to the the plots, the storylines, the role playing fantasy to maybe peek the consumer's interest?

You know, I agree with you on this insight. It is also why I stopped buying clips en masse because there are not may tickle clip stores that feature plots. I have also noticed the tickling is all the same. Place pretty girl in stocks, then tickle. I do like some plots with the clips. I am a story writer. I like stories. I know the majority of people just want to see tickling and nothing else, but I prefer some form of a plot.

I also prefer F/F clips so even ones with plots have M ticklers so it doesn't inspire me to purchase it. It is to each their own and I am not telling producers what to do, but I read your post and yeah, I am in agreement with it.

I don't buy because most lack intensity, I miss TMJ, Tasha, and omg I miss TIB. It's playful now, and I just don't see the intensity there used to be.

Do people really want plots? I mean I have a lot of ideas for story lines/plots, but they've been on the back burner because I've seen so many people on here complain they don't like clips that have storylines or maybe they just ment over the top plots like Calstar and Tickling Paradise did back in the day. Personally I really enjoy those two studios I just mentioned, but and this was more so with Calstar than Tickling Paradise it did sometimes seem very acted including the reactions to being tickled.

Also I second with Solemates about the reason you see a lot of male lers is due to budget. I know it's the reason why my husband is the ler in most of my clips. I have tried to get females I'm friends with personally in the lifestyle to show up in clips but they all are paranoid about having their faces shown. I also have been trying / still am trying to find models that are willing to shoot trade, but unfortunately my area of North Carolina is pretty dead when it comes to the fetish modeling industry.

Also, men like tickling, you get into the business to tickle. OMG.

Thank you for opinion, it looks like judging by the replies so far to this thread I'm not in the minority I'm in the majority LOL, and yes I would like to be clear about something I'm not telling the clip store owners or the website owners what to do if they choose not to give the consumer a good product then I choose not to spend my money.

I'm always looking for a good plot/storyline also like I stated in this thread I'm willing to pay for a custom as long as I get exactly what I want in the custom.

It's too bad you can't get your female friends to help you out. I hope in the future you do start doing some plots and storylines featuring an all female cast.

Yeah I'll eventually just start hiring people. I'm also going to be attending fetcon and will be trying to find other models interested in trade. I did a spy interrogation custom last year with my model/Dominatrix friend SkylerGrey and that was a ton of fun.

I've been producing videos since 2002, I'm from Brazil. at the beginning almost all our videos had a daily story. over the years, we stopped doing this and copied the most famous producers. we never sell much, an average of 15 clips per month. If it's just one guy and a camera, you have to be creative, or have amazing models, some kind of hook. Otherwise, I'm just susidizing you getting to tickle someone.

It's also the case that only a percentage of people like F/F tickling. Many people actually prefer M/F, although customer preferences differ from store to store. On the whole, M/F and F/F clips have always sold roughly similar amounts for me, although most of my best-selling clips have been M/F. The idea that everyone really wants F/F clips is a myth.

Similarly, your points about storylines, acting etc. A lot of people like to see cheesy, cliched storylines in tickling clips and a lot of other people hate them. It isn't a simple case of 'this is what we all really want to see' - it never is, and the opinions often expressed on the TMF about what people do or don't like to see rarely match up to the actual statistics (sales figures on the other hand, speak volumes).

Lots of stores do cater to the storyline type clips, some don't do it at all and many do both. There does seem to be an endless tide of complaints on here about fake reactions and bad acting though so it's a wonder that so many stores actually bother to do story-based clips at all.

My take is that I usually don't like it, but that's usually because it's not done very well. I see it as a very positive thing indeed if done with some theatrical skill and a semi-believable plot (or at least one that doesn't insult my intelligence).

As much as people want to find other reasons, it all goes back to piracy (primarily pornhub)

Now the key to this discussion isn't the piracy itself, but the amount of material people have access to for free. It's huge, and more importantly, it's UP TO DATE.

TickleAbuse's last 2 clips produced (yesterday and the day before that) are already on there - UK Tickling's last clip is already on there - And don't just think this is for top producers. Even FOR SOME mid level producers, their newest content is already out there a day or two after they put it out.

The appetite just isn't what it used to be for consumers. Pornhub also has the "Recent Videos" feature which allows you to look at every single video other usernames have watched since they created their accounts.

There is no effort to research clips , you just know that if you browse through the recent videos of people who watch tickling videos you'll eventually find what you're looking for.

As much as you try to circle around the subject, it's very very very simple. People have access to free up to date material. They buy less, and they're very rarely impressed enough with a clip to not wait for it to be pirated.

They buy less = the quality of the clips will go down

And you can't really group people into categories. Like, "yeah if you watch pirated material, you're a scumbad dickhead"

I still buy a lot of clips myself because I have the patience to research clips4sale,iwantclips, etc...I rarely buy from the top studios though... I've bought from studios you've probably never ever heard of. BUT I watch a lot of pirated materials too

The porn hub argument is a good one the unfortunate things for clips stores and websites is that yes people can watch clips for free, but there is a positive spin you can put on that though a customer may find a clip and watch it for free like it and then seek out that clip store or website and maybe find a few things they like and purchase them the possibilities of that are probably low but it could happen.

BTW, May I ask what clip stores you are buying products from so that I may check them out see if I find things I like for myself.
