So deactivating an account there is no such function you are saying because to me deactivation means also deletion of all content put on by said user.

We don't mass-delete content for people except in extremely rare circumstances where there might be a verifiable legal or safety issue. Because your contributions don't exist in a void, they're all part of a discussion and we don't want to be pulling pieces out of conversations like a Jenga tower, rendering them increasingly meaningless until they collapse.
You can go back and manually delete your own content though, by editing your post and removing its contents.
As for the account, we will kill your account for you if you want, which will change all of your posts to "guest."
But we prefer not to, because it's often just busy work. There's usually no reason a person can't just walk away from their TMF account rather than have it cancelled entirely, and they want me to be their willpower enforcer, which I don't want to do. Or they want to make a point by announcing that they want to cancel their account, which is silly because there's nothing here to really cancel.
Except in rare cases where people have a whole social media presence that matches their TMF ID, like a model or producer or something.
We're not inflexible about it - if there's a real reason you need our help cleaning out your TMF presence, we'll find a way to help you. But we want to avoid being asked to do busy work that doesn't really need doing at all, and could be accomplished just as easily by the person simply not coming here anymore.
