No more beach or pool soles?

Just saw this today from a company called Nakefit. They are sticky pads you put on your soles to replace sandals. Video is at http://nakefit.com. Hope this does not do away with sexy soles at the pool.

Talk about creating a solution to a problem that doesn't exist...

It's all the convenience of a flip-flop, except it's stuck to you so you can't put it on and off whenever you want.

When I used to vacation in Oahu,Hawaii in the mid-to-late 80s,there was a company that was selling those type of sandals for needless to say,it might have sold a few but eventually didn't do too well to go nationwide.

I saw a picture of it and thought it was unnecessary but whatever. I wouldn't buy them.

I sincerely hope that these do not become popular.

They've been around for a little while, at least a year. Unfortunately I don't frequent any places where they might get utilized, and so I haven't seen them at all.

This has been out for a while, and I have yet to see anybody actually wearing a pair. The only time I think it would be useful is if you're walking on hot sand at the beach, as they might be more effective than flip flops

I would get them if they were reusable. like some sort of special adhesive. Not worth it for one time (or even a several-times) use. Flip-flops are fine.

Perhaps if you were at a water park and forgot your swim shoes or flip flops and could buy a pair for a $1 or $2 out of a machine they could be worth it.

Or maybe for someone who does like the tan lines from flip flips they could occasionally be worth it.

Maybe the creator found creepshots of their feet on the internet and decided enough was enough.

    I'd believe it.

I don't think the product will ever take off though, since it's no better than sand sticking to your feet. It also sounds like a pain in the ass to attach and remove properly.
