Sorry if this has been discussed before. I didn't want to search through 32,000 threads.

I'm probably one of the older members here so my question is more or less directed to you, but anyone can chime in.

My fantasies/desires/obsessions/etc have changed little by little as I've grown up/older. Many of the same triggers don't trigger anymore. It could have something to do with the flooding of media compared to when I started looking and foraging for materials. After all, who cares about our record collection when any song ever recorded is available pretty much for free?

How about you? Has your TK fantasy whittled down to a small circle of interest? Has it expanded? Were you a foot person and now your interest has moved upward? Have you been a "general practitioner" but now find yourself only satisfied by a certain body part or a certain type of tickling?

What about the object of your fantasy? Has that changed? Do you now only fantasize about blonds, brunettes, taller, smaller, younger, older, wild, or innocent?

Has your bondage interests waned or is it stronger than ever? Do you only fantasize about total restraint now when it wasn't important previously, or are you tired of stocks and fancy restraining devices?

Lastly, have these changes in your attitudes and interests alarm you or are you content? In other words, have you accepted these more focused desires or has it given you a cause for concern? (eg: "Why can I only get off now if I imagine my victim with a carrot in her mouth and humming Free Bird?")

I know my circle of interest has gotten much smaller. I'm not into heavy bondage and definitely turned off by stocks. I don't like seeing women in videos spread out on a bed because I feel it's kind of demeaning. I like seeing my 'Ler AND my 'Lee having fun, laughing together, her getting turned on by the tickling (but not in a fake porno way), seeing the 'Ler's teasing to be sadistic but in a fun way.

Hope this stimulates some lengthy responses.

I must admit that the "spread out on a bed feels demeaning" notion through me off as well. I find it super sexy and if there's consent I don't see an issue.
 
From my teens to current late twenties, the "damsel in distress tickle tortured"-theme has remained my favorite fantasy, but details and tastes about that have been constantly shifting. I've gotten into bondage in general as time has gone by, tickling was the gateway to that for me. As for things that's changed the most, I appreciate foot tickling too these days. Didn't like it at all when I was a lot younger 100% upper body dude. I'm still quite easily put off by fetish material that focuses on foot tickling though, since the foot fetish that's often combined with it doesn't personally pleasure me at all, but to each their own.
 
Desires: more or less the same.
General fantasies: Every few months or year(s) I see the general trend of what interests me at any particular time slowly shift.
Specific fantasies: Changes on a whim and for a variety of reasons.

Not during play, however when certain videos are shot at certain angles it just looks really demeaning to the woman spread out like that. If I were directing a video I would want the "Lee to look fetching, sexy, helplessly alluring. When a camera is put down at the foot of the bed and all you see is a very unflattering spread leg shot, I feel it's disrespectful to the "Lee.
 
I never thought I'd be as into female lers as I am now. Only complaint is I didn't realize it sooner.

Oh. Maybe you can ask lees’ perspective since it’s pretty much up to them whether they feel disrespected. Being in that vulnerable and exposed position is how many lees want to feel. But I understand the thought process.
 
I don't think the recipient has to feel disrespected for one to show disrespect towards another.

At any rate, it doesn't seem like (in max's opinion) its the position in question but rather the point of view the camera shows the viewer.
 
I wouldn't say changed but I've added A TON of new ones as I've gained experience in this community, online, and in life. I've learned a lot about myself and it's been fun discovering new things I find arousing.

I agree generally but this is a unique circumstance. It’s true that a disrespected individual in a peeping Tom scenario, for instance, wouldn’t be aware. But if two people got together and had that sort of voyeuristic fantasy, they could construct that scene and discuss things like camera angles.
 
My fantasies have stayed pretty much the same. I'm still very much an upper body guy when it comes to tickling. A little light bondage, if any at all. I definitely like to see both ler and lee having fun with it. The only part that changes might be the scenarios I fantasize about. One day the ler might be trying to tickle the lee into submission, trying to get a secret out of him/her or something like that. another day, the lee may ask to be tickled. Of course the occasional gang tickle. And sometimes a tickle challenge of some sort, like trying not to laugh as long as you can, or let the lee tickle you as long as possible before you stop them.


I will admit I had some totally silly fantasies when I was younger that have faded away for me. Sometimes I would fantasize about a shirtless m lee or a f lee in a crop top. I would fantasize that either an elephant would wrap its trunk around their midsection, or a snake would wrap itself around their midsection, and somehow this would tickle like crazy, until they wee set free. Since I became a member here, I've had much more time to spend thinking and wondering about sexuality, and to learn and ponder some of the details of evolution and biology.

Because of that, I'm better able to articulate my sexual interests in terms of their commonalities and roots and speculate on their origins, rather than regarding them with pure, clueless reverence – though that reverence remains comparably strong as, say, my reverence for the night sky before learning much about astronomy.

I've always thought about sexuality in the abstract (not in the context of video production). I've seen some wonderful art, read some wonderful stories, and learned some interesting facts… so my fantasies have changed and evolved, but they still fundamentally thematize the real and potentially exploitable conflict between people's lucid, determined will against the reality of their manipulability and controllability by each other.
 
I'm an older member too...Mine have remained pretty similar but things I am interested in have definitely expanded or changed some. I spent a long time of inactivity on the tmf bc I was married to someone not into it and didn't want to seem like I was seeking it outside of my marriage... Not that I couldn't have looked at the content if I had wanted to... But my favorite thing about the tmf was always talking with people more than watching videos or anything else, and I felt like talking with people here would have been more questionable of me to keep doing. But since separating I had the tmf and tickling community in my life again, talked with people including some older members who used to chat with me over a decade ago, and even met someone to have sessions with again.. albeit through the Reddit tickling forum rather than the tmf.

A few main things have changed about my interests... Probably the biggest one is that I used to be very active on the stories board, but haven't felt the same interest for it that I used to. At the same time, I have been much more interested in video content than I ever was previously. I only rarely looked at tickling videos over the years, and so the content is very new to me and I'm finding out how little I really know about it. Many times if I like a video and ask who the people in it are, it will turn out to be one so old that it pre dates even when I joined the tmf, and features models who no longer do videos or is from a long-defunct company. ;)

I also never, ever thought I would pay a professional to tickle me, but here I am about to do that very thing with Kelli Lynn Sage and the person I met to session with in August. ;)

Thanks, she seems extremely cool, she was so nice to me when discussing this with her ;). A few months ago I wouldn't have even known who she was, but now I am definitely a fan. It will be my first f/f session... Possibly fm/f for part of it ;)
 
I was thinking of starting a similar topic a few months ago but never got around to it. I've noticed that the older I get the less attracted I am to women I don't know, like the women I see in videos. It's not like I need to know someone intimately to have an attraction, but a bit, anyway, at least some conversation or interaction. Funny thing is, even with actresses, despite the fact that I don't know them personally I'm much more attracted to those I'm familiar with - work wise, I suppose, or through interviews. Strangers just don't do it for me anymore. I noticed in the new Celebrity Belly Forum - I'm an upperbody man, m'self - there are all these young celebrities I ignore; I have no idea who they are or what they do, but if I see Laura Prepon, or Wynona Ryder, those are the ones I'd check out.
 
One of the best questions ever on The Fetish. I definitely evolved. It all began before puberty, but I'll start there to keep it simple. It was simply wanting to tickle women's bare feet in high school, then in college, I gradually expanded to upper body, but feet remain, to this day, The Gateway to everything. My taste in "scenes" also has evolved to include enjoying the voyeur aspect of watching F-F tickling videos (I have yet to witness a male tickle a woman "properly," in my estimation.) I've been thinking what I could contribute to this thread with. I used to think "not much" because my fantasies have seldom changed. It's actually amazing how little they changed across my 32 years of existence.

However, there is one thing. I "began" as a full switch, just as likely to be on the giving or receiving hand of the tickling. I don't know if it had something to do with a possible lack of confidence when I was young, but I liked the idea of completely "letting go" in the hands of a skilled tickler. Now that I'm older and more confident, my proclivities have clearly evolved towards a more dominant style of play. I'm still a switch, but I am much more likely to be 'lering than 'leeing; I'd say 70%/30%. A long time can pass between two sessions where I am tied up. More often than not, I am the one doing the tickling.
 
Initially, my focus was pretty broad, but as I’ve exposed - and experienced - more of such-related material, I think my interests have definitely changed, but have really only gotten larger.
Initially, I thought certain areas weren’t receptive (largely as I failed to tickle myself there), but simply from exposing myself to more material discussing areas, it sends my mind afire and re-energized sleeping or atrophied nerves (tickling seems to be as much, if not more, mental than physical). Due to life certain things have definitely been adversely affected, but I find with the right ... stimulation, tantalization, it allows such spliced nerves to reinvigorate.

And with the mass inundation of all these different spots, constantly being tickled, my brain changes it’s thought patterns, accordingly affecting which areas of my body are receiving more focussed neural growth than others.

Regarding real-life adaptation, as much as my mind may want to screw with me, unless a person knows the proper keys to unlock the cheat doors in the correct order, I am even more resilient than I previously hoped!

Yet, this experience has hardly even begun for me. Curious as to how constant excitation may direct my tastes. :devilish:
