It’s a type of foot massage that hurts. It was used one on The Amazing Race in Taiwan (?) and contestants were in tears. They had to take 10 minutes of it before they could return to the race. They were allowed to call for it to stop but after a break they had to start the full 10 minutes over again.

Yep, this is not tickling. That is a painful foot massage. Just note the body language, the sweating, and the way she has to grip the host's arm and bear down.
