General.. Online Question.


Do any forum members still use Internet Explorer to surf the net?

In my first few years online, and as a TMF member , in the early 2000s, I used only Internet Explorer.

As the years have gone on, I have only been using Google Chrome when I'm online.


I know that it 's said that Google Chrome is safer.

I'm sure that's true.

I've also noticed something else.

The lettering on Internet Explorer is far smaller than on Google Chrome.

For reading articles, logging into other websites, etc.

There would seem to be no reason to use Internet Explorer.

Such is why I will continue to use Google Chrome only when I'm online.

I also prefer it to Firefox.

I use IE to login to tmf chat-room as Chrome and Firefox have ceded supporting Java.

Same here. Otherwise, been using Firefox since 2005, very happy with it. And Safari from my phone.

Internet Explorer is something barely anyone uses from what I'm aware of.

Thanks for the replies.

I rarely come into the chatroom anymore.

I guess that's why I don't use IE.

If I had to , to come into the chatroom, I would.

However, besides that, I won;t use it.

Well, judging from what Jeff has been posting, we might get a new TMF board with better code that will support a new chat room. We'll have to see I guess.
