It finally happened. The counter is set from 635 to 0 as the Cleveland Browns win their first game in nearly two years.
Baker Mayfield, replacing Tyrod Taylor just before halftime because of a concussion, led the Browns to their first win in 635 days. He erased a 14 point deficit and fired up the Browns offense while the defense harassed Sam Darnold and made plays down the stretch. I do feel bad for Tyrod Taylor but he's been Pipped (Google it). Unless something crazy happens, I think Mayfield is the starting quarterback of the Browns going forward.
Funny tidbit, Bud Light was offering fans a free beer when the Browns won. They had literally locked up refrigerators of Bud Light with padlocks, and were unlocking them when the Browns won. There was a poster a Browns' fan brought to the stadium that said "Browns win, unlock the coolers, DILLY DILLY!" Hilarious.
Go nuts Browns fans, you deserve to celebrate. I wonder how many people in Cleveland are taking a long weekend as a result?
