Hi All! I had to tell you all this one. My mom and I have got a lot of scam calls before, but I have to say that this new one we have been getting for the last little bit is the dumbest by far.
Not only are they using my sister's name (the phone is in her name), but, they make it look like they are calling from our own number.
I don't know what makes me madder, the fact that this has to be a scam, or the stupidity of the scammer, calling the same number that they are supposedly calling from.
I mean. I am NOT (not even close) a genius, but still.
And, just something I thought of. Why is the phone company letting that number through? Like I said, I am not a genius, but if I saw a number calling itself, that would raise a lot of red flags.
And, by the way. I know this sounds made up. In fact, if I had not saw it with my own eyes, I would think it was fake too. But, it's 100% true.
