A new Public Service Announcement (PSA) for us ticklephiles! :)

Ticklephile is such a dumb label I don't know why anyone would want to be called that.
 
Weird how no one cares about words like "bibliophile" "technophile" "ailurophile"

"-phile" just means "lover of" or "enthusiast of" and probably doesn't have the connotation you're putting to it, Revy.
 
I liked the tone overall, especially how it didn't ascribe any generally negative deviancy labels on us and noted that it's perfectly fine, as long as you don't force yourself on someone, just like regular sexual attraction/intercourse. They slipped at times, like calling the ticklee "victim," when most in our community are about "between consenting adults." Yes, ticklees often view themselves as victims and get their thrills from it, but in this clinical context, I don't think it comes across the way we view it, and how a general readership would view it.
