I have a list of my favorite television shows of the 80's in no particular order:
Mr. Belvedere
Webster
Full House
McGuyver
You Can't Do That On Television (on Nickelodeon)
Charles in Charge
My Two Dads
Growing Pains
Night Court
Who's the Boss
Perfect Strangers
Family Matters

That's all I can think of for now. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere. The latter I related to heavily with its storyline of young medical residents up against the greybeard system/establishment being a struggling grad student myself at the time. Often I felt the urge to rebel, regressing into a rabid, don't-give-a-fuck occasional animal like Hill Street's Sgt. Belker.

A bonus in the above scene for vintage TV fans: the head fishmonger is none other than Alvy Moore, who played scatterbrained agricultural agent Mr. Kimball on Green Acres.

1.Miami Vice
2.Wiseguy
3.Doctor Who (back when it was good)

All three of the above was never missed a single week back in the 80's when I was a teenager. And today, I still revisit all of em! And I did watch "You Can't Do That On Television" back in the early 80's on Nik. Aint seen or thought of that in years!

In no particular order...

Knight Rider
Miami Vice
Newhart
Kate and Allie
St. Elsewhere
The Fall Guy
Cheers
Night Court
Family Ties
Headbangers Ball -MTV show
120 Minutes -MTV show

There are others but that’s my list for now.

My favorite TV show in the 1980s was Dallas.

I watched every episode from just before Who Shot JR, until the last one, and then caught the first. two seasons in syndication.

I was born in 1985, so for me the 80's shows were a lot of kids' cartoons:

- GI Joe (LOVED that one :bubbleheart:)
- Transformers
- Ghostbusters
- Fist of the North Star
- Saint Seiya
- Princess Knight
- The Rose of Versailles
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (fetish awakening :D)

I did watch a few live action too:

- Knight Rider
- Mission: Impossible (the 1980s revival, still with Jim Phelps, but with a new team)
- The A team
- McGuyver (I was really fond of that one)
- Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future (a very underrated show which was wonderfully written)
- Magnum PI
- CHiPs

Yeah I would like to add The Cosby Show, Simon and Simon, The Wonder Years, and Different Strokes. Three's Company was primarily in the 70's by the way.

I'll add Simon And Simon too...didn't count it originally cause I didn't start watching it till the very last season, then really got into it later on the reruns.
