chat room blues

Is anyone else confused by the new chat room? I type something, and press "enter", but nothing happens; nor do I see a "send" button. Also, I can't figure out how to message someone. I try clicking on their username, but nothing happens; I miss the old chat. Can anyone give me some instructions or advice?

It’s the same for me, so maybe it’s something phone related? It’s odd, I’ve been visiting the chat room for less than a year, it wasn’t always a hive of activity but already I miss it.

Same. The old chat was clunky and unstable af, but at least it was working on my phone. Now I can only use my desktop for chatting ; I got the same problems you just mentioned.

I PMed Jeff about it, and he said there is nothing he can do

The chat room we had to default to once the other one died with its company can do mobile phones, but it's dicy. I'd suggest going in on your desktop and if you see any one with the phone icon by their name open a chat about what is working for them. We might be able to find out if its one op system that has issues or such.

Sorry for the issues, but we really have no good affordable chat options these days. Skype and FB Messenger seem to have killed the chat market dead.
