Social networks for producers

Hey there,

I recently created an Instagram account because I sense that the tickling community is kinda strong over there.

But what over platforms do you use if any ? Twitter seems to be a couple of hundreds at most, Fetlife is a mess and Facebook has never been fetish friendly..

I already don't like social media much (except forums ^^ ) , so I wouldn't go waste my time on a platform where there is nobody.

Here is an article explaining what's going on with Instagram right now. It seems like every day I'm seeing someone in the sex worker industry or adult entertainment industry posting that their Instagram got shut down, but they followed their posting guidelines. It's becoming super frustrating.

Twitter is probably the best social media option as of right now, but they do shadowban people. Honestly though I will take that over having my account completely shut down and getting banned. Here is a site you can use to check and see if your Twitter handle has been shadowbanned.

Fetlife is not a bad site to join, but you need to have the understanding that the people on there are probably not going to be your targeted audience. The majority of the people on that site aren't the ones that pay for porn. If everyone who liked or commented on one of my pictures or clip previews bought something off of my store I'd be rich. Think of FetLife as a kinky version of Facebook.

This is what we're having to deal with right now in America. It's why more and more social media sites are shutting down in banning anything to do with sex or kink. I sadly don't think this forum is immune to either, but I keep hoping Vbulletin want decide to shut down adult forums.

I think Vbulletin is agnostic, it's only a tool that is self hosted: when you pay for it you do what you want. It's like wordpress.

Otherwise it's sad to see that platforms aren't really useful, so in the end we have a fraction of other industries's playground
