Hi, I'm Japanese.


Recently, tickling posts are increasing in Japan. You can find many tickling scenes by
searching "くすぐり" and "こちょこちょ" on youtube.
There are also specialty stores in Japan where you can play tickling.
So I wondered the following.


In what country is tickling the most active? U.S.A? Europe? Asia?
Also,Is there a store where you can play tickling overseas?


I posted because I wanted to know about overseas.

Funny thing is, when I first started to explore tickling content on the Internet, I used to believe that the USA were the holy Mecca of tickling, where the fetish is almost mainstream :blaugh: I got that image from the fact that this forum is mostly American (I'd say Americans account for some 90% of the total membership; I call it the "Star Spangled Forum" :D) and that the video companies of the time were mostly based in the USA :usa: In fact, it is by regularly coming to the TMF that my English became fluent.

I wasn't the only one to think that. I remember on another French language forum a post by a woman (allegedly) looking to making friends with people who had, as she claimed, the same tickling fetish as her. I will always remember the first few words of that post: "Hi, I am looking for something very well-known in the US but totally under the radar in France: tickling fetish".

Since then, I discovered that sadly, there does not seem to be one country in particular where tickling is more practiced and/or more accepted than in another one. There are countries where physical contact between men and women is considered more acceptable (therefore leading to more tickling opportunities), but nothing more than that. I believe our distribution around the world is more or less even, and that in any given society we are a silent minority. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I am actually trying to find clips from a series called Kusuguri rings. The company was defunct years ago now, I have one full clip that I did manage to find, but the rest seems downloadable only. One of two segments seem to be on Pornhub too, but very short clips not full videos.

It consists of many Japanese girls in costumes, school girl with socks, bikinis etc and the goal of each girl is to make the other one submit by tickling.
Some girls have really ticklish feet, some girls have really ticklish sides it seems to vary. Then after a few vs fights, the loser has to sit on a chair and get tickled all over and has to stay sat there, as punishment...
 
I’m curious. What is a specialty store where you can play tickling?
 
The tickling spa trend is big in Spain. This is just anecdotal, and possibly even coincidental. Someone else mentioned Greece and how certain countries are bigger on touching than others. Mediterranean nations would seem to be prime areas inductively, e.g., Spain, France, Greece, Italy-----but as an Italian, I can tell you that it's zero on the scale, at least in my family and community growing up in Chicagoland. ----Catholic ethnic suburbia in the '70s----Italian, Irish, and Polish families, and it wasn't a "thing."
 
I think the USA is number one in the standings, no question about it. Other countries that seem to be high up on this list would be Brazil and Turkey. I've found so many mainstream clips and tickling challenges online from people from these countries, it just has to be a thing there.

And if I have to make a top 5, I'd also add China and Japan. But then again, those are just my impressions, could be wrong. :)
 
It's interesting and nice to get various answers. I don't have the image of Turkey tickling for which there were some answers, but are there any famous sites or videos?
 
Oh, definitely North Korea, without a shadow of a doubt.

I definitely enjoy the Japanese tickling videos, both professional and mainstream. I'd love to be able to visit there someday.
 
I've actually seen it from the UK the most, so my guess is England or something. This includes outside of TMF, both videos in general and individual people who are into tickling.

It depends on your personal impression though, so it's hard to say.
 
I've always thought it sorta seemed like maybe the Japanese/Chinese dual threat was hard to beat, as far as actual amount of material.

I was always curious about Japanese culture. Even studied some martial arts.

We just humbly try to make tickling more active in our country, promoting tickle therapy in Russia :)
At least we show more and more people here that tickling is not something to be afraid of or shy about, but it's healthy and so much fun. Everyone who overcame their fears and stereotypes and tried our tickle therapy was really impressed by what they felt afterwards, how their emotional stress and physical tension were released.
