Tickle play with platonic friends?

If you have a close platonic friend who you happen to know is very ticklish or have seen tickle others, would it be recommended to try to initiate tickling with her/him? How would you go go about it?

I think it’s really circumstantial. If they have mentioned they don’t like it, then it’s a hard no. If you have seen them do it with others, I would keep it within that context and then proceed or stop based upon their reactions.

I’d say it really depends. Do they know about your fetish? It they do, how would they feel about it? Assuming they don’t and assuming they’ve never suggested that they absolutely hate tickling then I’d say if you can find a natural opportunity then go for it. Playful ‘messing with’ or teasing can be a great opportunity.

I agree it depends. I worked with someone who I stumbled upon finding out how ticklish she was. Turns out she liked it. She was tickled by an old high school boyfriend and enjoyed it in her adult life. She was a tickle partner for years.

This situation calls for an extreme amount of finesse. I love being tickled but i know people who hate it, or maybe even get sexual ptsd triggered because it started with a tickle. So i would say definitely observe first, then ask not obvious questions. Then if you still see that the light is green then definitely start out easy. Any sign of distress, stop.
