Damn. This is definitely one of the hottest true stories I've read from this forum; partially because of how relatable it is. While I enjoyed it, I couldn't help but feel really bad for Jaime, as I was in his position before.
Back in high school, I had a massive crush on this girl, who, like Alice, was very pretty and had the attention of many guys, but was also one of the guys. I remember the jealousy I felt when our mutual friends or guys from outside the class tickled her, and when her crush would strike her armpits and she'd welcome him with open arms (or armpits lol).
