This is real, and it is heartbreaking.

Actress Kelly Preston has passed away at age 57.

Ms Preston succumbed following a two year battle with Breast Cancer.

I have seen this on several news sources this morning.

I'm stunned, shaken, and saddened to the core of my soul, for Ms Preston, Mr Travolta, and the Travolta family.

Rest In Peace, Ms Preston.

That’s awfully sad; I was a fan of hers since “Space Camp”.
Totally underrated actress.

That sucks. That family been through a lot of loss. I think they lost a son a few years ago

Something very creepy I was thinking of.

John Travolta's first love, was actress Diana Hyland.

Ms Hyland was originally signed to play the character of the mother on the TV series "Eight is Enough"

Shortly after, Ms Hyland passed away at a very young age, also as a result of breast cancer.

Mr Travolta stated in interviews that he was crushed by Ms Hyland's death.

Tragic that his first love, and now his wife, both succumbed to breast cancer.

Edit. You are right, chicago. In 2009 Ms Preston and Mr Travolta's son, Jett, died while they were on vacation, due to a seizure.
