Shouldn't this pointless thread be deleted? I mean, regardless of the content of the original post, the OP deleted it (and seems to think replacing the whole thing with "lol" is amusing or clever), so we have minimal context for what this discussion is supposed to be about.

In any case, while this thread might have some kind of value if the original post were still there (and even then), as it is I think it would be best to just delete it altogether. Others might disagree, though.
 
It was an honest outreach, just perhaps in the wrong subsection. And applicants were free to ask him for his measurements as well.
