Oldest F/F tickling photo? 1865, very mild.

It’s mainstream but not art - so to the Art forum or the Mainstream Clip forum? Well, anyway, here it is:

A posed studio photo taken in approximately 1865. Kind of cute, vague sexy, not much in the way of tickling - but this was probably great comedy in 1865, and especially scandalous for the closeted fetishy folks who tied on their putees, then rode their penny-farthings to the doctor for their quack phossy jaw treatment.

That's so interesting! A lot of old photos you see the people all look pissed off. Not sure if that is due to how much time was required to take a photo, bad teeth, or social ideas about smiling back then.

Yeah, they’re so happy, and kind of goofing around! I’ve read that a lot of it had to do with the social ideas. Adults were afraid that smiling would make them look like damn idiots for all eternity (the had no concept yet of modern social media and what little effort it would actually take.) Mark Twain was vocal against the idea of smiling in pictures. These women were YOLO before YOLO were hashtagged.
