Seems pretty tough to make a connection, develop the relationship, and eventually make a tickling sessions happen.

What is the best way to make a lifelong tickle fantasy come true? Would love to experience a session.

Do I have to hire a specialist?
 
I've had the best luck just meeting ladies and get to know them some and gently and almost nonchalantly bring a little tickling into the relationship slowly and gauge how they react. If they're accepting of your attempts, then you can little by little bring more of it into your play. Treat it as almost an after thought and maybe prod them into seeing just how much they can handle. The key is to take it slow. If they are cool with what you're doing, then by all means, push the envelope more. Just don't push it if you get a negative reaction from them. Then they could take it as being creepy.
 
I've had sporadic luck with Tinder and dating sites and just telling the girls fairly early on (same week, not same day) what I'm into and floating the idea to see if they'd be into it. In my experience, roughly 40-ish percent are willing to try.
 
Pay someone or invest in making friendships with folk you may want to play with.

Most things in life, including this, require some effort

I'm neither rich nor good looking, but am married to a beauty (third time lucky) after a very eventful episodic bachelorhood.

While we men are visual and entrapped by looks, women are seduced through their ears so work on being a good conversationalist- ask open-ended questions and encourage them to open up to you. It takes time and you'll have many failures but sometimes you'll get lucky, and that's what you'll remember.
 
Try to attend events (when it's safe to do so). Talk to people. Talk to people about other things other than tickling. Make genuine connections and go from there.
 
Going to events, whenever they happen again, is a great idea. Don't necessarily set your sights on the big huge ones and don't be discouraged by some groups of folk that don't engage with anyone outside of their little core circle. It can be tough navigating social situations even if you are the most skilled with people, but don't worry, just keep trying.
