Finding my way

Over the past few years, I've discovered just how much my interest in tickling is a significant piece of who I am. There was a time when I would've said maybe it's just a phase or something to deny it. I've fully accepted and embraced it. I do feel like somethings missing though. I'd like to have some people to share it with.

I don't mean like have sessions with(although I'd never be opposed to that.) I mean like how people with common interests come together to talk to each other about it. Sometimes forming real friendships/relationships, and sometimes just remaining like acquaintances with that shared interest. I'd really like to get the chance to chat with any of you who may be interested, just about tickling topics or whatever comes to mind. No pressure or anything, just like messaging on here. No need to even tell me your name or anything about you. I just like to talk about this stuff and don't have anyone to.

This may seem odd. I'm just trying to be honest.

Wanting to form connections with people that have like interests and outlooks is one of the reasons this forum was founded 20 years ago. So your post is very much one that I'm happy to see and welcome.

Basically to achieve your goal do what you have been, posting around the forum, create some topics that invite comments or discussion here in the Discussion forum, and see what happens. You can always try the chatroom, though based on who is about you may or may not make a connection for chat on any one visit. Eventually when COVID lifts and the in person part of the community re-emerges, perhaps there will be gatherings or Munches in your area that you could attend and interact with folks at.

Basically finding friends here is very much like in the real world. It takes effort and time, and often seems to not be advancing. I wish you the best of luck and am glad to hear your voice here.

My writing has helped me become more comfortable with my own particular kink.

The explicit, sexual stories here aren’t for me. If that’s your thing, hey that’s cool too. But part of the reason I wrote the way I did, and for the most part still do, is for others like me. Someone who may be on the fence, and could get scared off by something more hardcore. Or someone who likes the fun, playful side.

Yeah I'm trying to get more comfortable with just owning who I am with this stuff. Honestly I have a wide range of things I enjoy. Like, I love your stories! The fun, playful side is delightful! I do have a thing for getting a bit more explicit in my personal writings/thoughts. I'll just keep being open about the way I am and things will work out one way or another.

I understand what you mean completely. My own journey figuring this out for myself has been paralleled by Billy. He’s the one the audience can come in through, it’s been a journey of self discovery.

He fell in love with her at first sight, more deeply hearing her laughter. In a way, it was like that with my wife. I finally worked up the nerve to ask what would have been a simple question if I didn’t have this particular kink.

Now if I had just asked, I would have known from the beginning. And we could have had a lot more fun together.
