Something that made me go hmmmmm (tickle clips)

I don't know if this has been discussed before, so please forgive me if it has been before. I have always wondered something about tickling clips. You see countless clips where the male tickler is in a mask, but not the female lee. I understand the popular professional female lees who have carved out a decent following, but you often hear about folks wanting to not see the professional models, but "every day girls".

How come they have to show their face, but not the guy? I understand some dudes don't want to expose themselves because of possible job ramifications, social embarrassment, etc, but wouldn't the same apply to the woman? Haven't we heard how many of these ladies stop doing clips because they end up all over the internet and Pornhub and some have lost their employment or been extremely embarrassed when people in their "regular" life found out?

So why is that? I know if I am going to be in a tickle clip, me personally would not wear a mask if the woman is not going to hide her identity either. Seems fair right? Fair is fair.

Just something that made me go hmmmm. I am trying to think about how if I was a woman, I volunteer to be in a clip, but the dude gets to hide his face, but mine is going to be plastered all over the internet. I know I would ask him why does he get to do it but not me?

I think the rationalization is, "If a model's in only one clip, the risk of being outed isn't that great, but if the producer is in fifty clips, the risk is much greater". Just my theory.

Because the model is just that - a model. They are getting paid to show their face, not just to be a 'person who is tickled on video' - which is why they get paid a modelling fee. There'd be little point in recruiting a model (particularly one who is well known or has a following) to be the subect of your clip only to have them wear a mask. I do occasionally have foot models message me wanting to be in clips but not wanting to show their face, and the answer is generally 'no' because almost nobody would buy it.

In an M/F clip the producer may be the tickler but they don't need to show their face because they're not the model and not usually the subject of the clip. The guys (because it is predominantly guys) buying the clips don't for the most part care whether they see the male tickler's face or not. There are exceptions, but I think that on the whole, most customers prefer not to be distracted by the tickler in an M/F clip. It isn't worth paying additional money to hire a sexy male model to tickle the sexy female model in the clip when the majority of paying customers either don't care or would prefer not to see their face anyway.

...my first guess would be the endless legions of slavering morons who come here and bitch about "creepy", "ugly" guys in videos. Like turtleboy said, you're not watching the video for them, and there's literally no point in wasting money on a male model when most people pitch a fit if the guy dares show anything above the wrist on camera in the first place.

Models do occasionally ask to hide their face, and sometimes it's just not even necessary. Ellen Sirot is the world's most famous foot model; do YOU know what she looks like without googling her?

There are two kinds of models. There are the pros, who accept that part of the job is having their face out there, and the dabblers, who are just regular people who want a buck and a fun new experience, who may not have accepted the risks that come with it. You're not going to be able to dox a pro and get her humiliated in front of her family. The dabblers, it's a risk.

So yeah, what the turtley-man said.
