With all the negativity in the world right now, I want to start a positive thread. What is something that has brought you genuine joy in your life? Could be something big or small. Something that just makes you forget about everything else, if only for a moment. If you want to say tickling that's fine, but I figured that would be a popular one on this site.

I'll start with one. When people hear music they love and they just start letting it move them. Whether that mean you're belting out the lyrics or dancing your heart out without a care in the world, or maybe you're just rocking back and forth really feeling it. I think it's one of the most amazing feelings.
 
My wife.

She’s the best qualities of all my girlfriends rolled into one person.

She’s a football nut, who knows more about football than my friends. And she’s beaten guys at fantasy football.

She makes the best brownies in the world.

She’s also the inspiration for Krista.

And yes, she’s ticklish.

I'm not gonna be very original, but it's probably my wife that makes me the happiest.

Also, a true feeling of accomplishment. It can come from small things like cleaning and tidying our apartment, or completing a major muti-leveled task at work. Achieving hard goals in a video game give me that feeling too, like reconquering Karak Eight Peaks with Belegar in Warhammer II or defeating the Orphan of Kos in Bloodborne :typerhappy:

A smile on my siblings' faces.

Receiving good news from my family, as I live very far away from them.

An inspiring message from a fellow TMFer, be it public or private. This thread is a good example ;)
 
No matter how dark life has gotten, as long as I had a comfortable, cozy, secluded place of my own to retreat to, and could drink a hot cup of coffee while playing a game (especially immersive, open world ones where you can get lost in exploring), I've found that it helps.
 
Lately I've been listening to 80's freestyle music especially Judy Torres. Ah, those were the days.
Also been watching alot of the MCU.
