Do you people wonder how do the general public receive tickling scenes? i dont mean couple tickling scenes or anything like that, in which tickling has the commom concept of cuddling and love. i'm talking about when someone is tied and tickled for punishment or information.

does it get a kick grim, a gag from people? ok. but does anyone on earth find tickling torture HILARIOUS? i dont think so.

such and unusual scene over and over in the media... I think people get that's about some "weird obsession" at least. and obviously feet realated sometimes.
I mean, people DO know foot fetish to get what is a foot torture about, right? There's even a movie who mock these foot torture scenes (lock, stock and two smoking barrels) When is a hot girl having the feet molested is quite obvious, and even more when its between men, who obviously dont play with each others feet for fun in real life likein humour interrogation scenes.

what you guys think? general public buy the "comedy" thing?

Lol I am a MASSIVE fan of Lock, Stock... I think I've seen it about 20 times. And like most here, I am into feet. Yet, believe me or not, I never EVER made the connection between that hilarious scene (the whole movie is a riot :blaugh:) and the fetish as a whole. Because I don't think it even implies it; if anything it is a reference to something gangsters did historically, burn people's feet to make them confess where they hide their money.

As for how tickling scenes are received in the public, you're not the only one wondering. I have seen it countless times on the Internet: people bluntly posting links and pictures of tickling video producers on vanilla sites, or under a (usually female) Instagram user's picture, just to see what kind of reaction it would generate. The result was usually mild indifference, puzzlement, and accusations of selfishness (for derailing a post into porn territory). I think the general public simply does not care, and just throws this in the same kink box as S&M and/or foot fetish. It does not even generate the same "forbidden fruit" fascination that S&M does, I think, judging by the media and the people I talk to. The folks are either REALLY into it like us, or merely raise an eyebrow like the vast majority.

As in 2 smoking barrels?

Ironically I thought people probably connect with the Scrooged tickling scene.

that's what i believe too. and I think people DO get its a fetish but that's not alarming

Not sure if this would count, but what about tickling in magic tricks? It’s cute and done for comedy purposes - which I imagine gets that sort of reaction- but the recipient is still trapped and tickled against their will.

Cheers, everybody,

Dirty Dancing, the scene where Patrick Swayze tickles Jennifer Grey in the dance sequence. Never fails to get things rolling.
