This image popped up on my newsfeed the other week.

I have seen custom made shoes like this that expose the soles but these are slightly different.

They may also make strong men cry in airports....
 
I saw those on travels in a shop in torquay, Devon.
They were in several different colours so they do exist.
The shop was near an Italian restaurant on torwood Street. Just found it. The shop is called Sally Allen.
These, are on the website but I'm sure there were higher ones also.
That's your starter for ten. Lol

On the one hand, the shoes are interesting, and I wont lie, its kind of sexy how much of the feet are exposed and vulnerable. On the other, theyre pretty damn ugly looking and I honestly can't expect anyone to wear them comfortably and be happy with it. I imagine the only thoughts someone wearing those shoes would have is how soon they can take them off.

Otherwise, interesting concept
