Let's bring back the stocks

Hello everyone!

I was wondering what fellow TMF'ers would think about my proposal to reinstate the stocks as a punishment for minor offences (i.e. jaywalking, uttering obscenities, working on the Sabbath, etc.)

Offenders (particularly ATTRACTIVE offenders) would be locked in padded stocks for a few hours in the Ye Olde Towne Square, where passers-by would be free to tickle the soles of the offender's defenseless feet, and maybe even take pictures or record videos of the offender's humiliating predicament and post them on social media. I predict a strong reduction in recidivism if these measures are re-instated.

What do you think?

As a foot tickling lover and passionate fan of the stocks, I agree! Cruel and unusual punishment? I say cool and unusual FUN-ishment! Hehe.

Not sure if you know this already but there are plenty of medieval stocks still lying around in some villages in the UK. But yeah, lets bring back the punishment of tickle torturing and humiliating criminals in them!
