Howard Stern and the Golden Age of Mainstream Tickling

Not just a matter of who you would want to see but who of the stars today who is willing to do it. Every woman he tickled really wasn't that big of a surprise they would agree except maybe Maria

I know about it, but in all honesty I don't want tickling to be mainstream. I'm not being a gatekeeper - anyone truly into it is welcome - but I think it's something that should remain among those who are really into it rather than being a source of cheap entertainment for people who just want to see something a bit "out there".

This is an interesting thought. Kink has definitely gone more into the mainstream in 2021 so i feel a lot more women celebs would do it as a fun little thing but it definitely takes a certain personality to be down for this (whether they're a free spirit or are kinky, etc.). What would help, I think, is less of a focus on getting the girls in bikinis. If they can wear their outfits sans shoes, I think it'd be easier to get them in any kind of tickle chair. Personally I think some would be:

1. Drew Barrymore - she's straight up said she likes tickling so as long the situation is less crass than Stern's show, she'd be down.
2. Bella Thorne - seems down as fuck, she posts her feet on OnlyFans so would probably be down for getting tickled
3. Alison Brie - super open-minded and sexual (going from her stories from college) and is cool with foot guys. she seems like a fun personality who'd do this
4. Gillian Jacobs - similar to alison but on a smaller scale, she knows dudes like her feet and says she's cool with it. i'm sure she'd be down to get tickled to promote a new project
5. Vanessa Hudgens - free spirit-type girl who likes her feet. i can see her being up for the challenge
6. Cara Delavigne - likes feet and is open about it. idk how that translates to tickling for her but i can see her being cool with it

If a woman gets in a tickle chair without full disclosure that it's fetish oriented and jerk off material, she's being deceived and exploited. How many "producers" on this site conceal that truth with their "models"?

Having interacted with a lot of models in my day, the answer is "more than you'd be comfortable knowing about."

I think Stern is a weird case though, given the nature of the bulk of his content I think that most of the celebrities that wound up in the chair knew on some level that it was a bit of exploitative kink and simply didn't care, or at the very least knew that pretty much anything that they did on television would be jerked off to by SOMEBODY because that's the nature of being an attractive woman in media.

On the other hand, the few clips I saw made me feel like said celebs were peer-pressured into doing the segments and with few exceptions, weren't terribly happy about it. This is also way too common in our community, and I really wish it wasn't.

I don't think Stern was any kind of "ambassador" for our kink to the mainstream. He did something weird on a lark, probably at the prodding of some totally-innocent-but-not-really people from this community, saw his viewership take a bump upward, and kept doing it as long as the interest was there. I don't think it's any more complex than that.

I also don't quite get the obsession with "making tickling mainstream". Are people ashamed of themselves and hoping that if it was more positively portrayed in the media that they could come out to their crushes without judgement? I've got news for you folks; sex is pretty mainstream and yet I still can't tell people I want to bang them like a screen door in a hurricane without potentially being negatively judged for it. Tickling is the same way. There are people who have irrational phobias about feet, fer chrissake. No amount of public information campaigns and brand ambassadors is going to change that.

Howard Stern, Jerry Springer and Hugh Hefner are always held up as free speech heroes. I think they're just a bunch of camel faced manipulators. You know you've got a sick, demoralized society when Howard Stern is the hero and the FCC is the villain.
Keep kink and fetishism in the bedroom. It has no place on mainstreet or mainstream. There's a good reason I'm not allowed to spread my buttcheeks in the middle of Times Square. But that could change!

Cope lol

Yeah, she needs to know that guys (and some girls, hopefully) will be wanking themselves silly over it. That's why I'd like to see more content that was produced involving genuine 'lees and 'lers. There are some models who really do get off on it (Ginary, for example), but especially when it comes to female 'lees, I'd prefer to know that she was having a good time. I'm less fussy with men because frankly I'm not sure what male could possibly not enjoy being at the mercy of a beautiful woman, although that's my male submissive bias coming into play lol

Honestly, I never got into his celebrity tickling bits. Just didn’t like the vibe in the studio while he did it.

On the other hand, I loved it when he had Ana on for the first time. I remember being on the train heading to work in NYC during that segment. Earlier that year, I had discovered tickling videos for the first time. It was a great awakening for me, as I discovered there were other people like me out there.

"Celebrity Tickle Challenge" could totally be a thing. The tickle challenge is mainstream and popular on the youtube. It could totally happen.

Exploitationists would be a much more better term when describing this trio(even though Hefner is a pioneering trendsetter in starting up the mainstream nudie magazine business). As far as attempting to keep kink and fetishism in the bedroom, that is very hard to do as the likes of Doris Wishman,Quentin Tarantino, and many modern horror filmmakers have made displaying scenes of close-ups of barefeet and barefoot soles(and even tickling scenes) the norm(while exposing their closeted fetishes) while the filmmakers that specialize in torture porn horror cinema obviously have personal closeted S&M fetishes(and I'm not defending torture porn[as I'm just trying to make a point here]). And the Howard Stern of today is truly different from the Howard Stern of the late 80s and the 90s.

Now that 👆, I could kinda maybe see where it might could sorta catch on. I'm with ya it

Respectfully, I've always disagreed with these motive-based judgements, a la "If you do X for this reason it's okay, but if you do X for that reason, it's deplorable."

Not only does this over-simplify the reasons human beings do things to just one single factor -- whereas often there are many reasons we do things -- but it also presupposes we can see into another person's brain as if to mind read them. And separately, it usually assumes a bunch of different people all have the same, one motive, when they don't.

Take an easy example: People find tickling videos through this site as content for masturbation. But do you always masturbate, literally every time you see a video here? Or how about even throughout an entire visit to this site?
I don't, and I'd bet most of you don't either. So what's going on there? Seems clear to me that sometimes people come to this site not to masturbate, but to feel more normal about their sexuality. Or feel good just by hearing young attractive girls' laughter, i.e. that young female energy thing. Or engage in conversations like this one. Some probably feel comforted by the control/submission aspect of these videos, that isn't always about masturbation in the moment. What if couples watch these videos together before sex? In that case is it not jerk off material? The reasons we do things are almost always complex

By the time Howard Stern introduced the "tickle chair," (which was about the worst design I could imagine someone bothering to build -- girls were always getting out of the wrist restraints, arms should have been up rather than forward), the show was widely known for sex-themed content. Countless strippers and prostitutes had been on, regular girls had agreed to get naked in "Win Fred's Money" contests and talk about their orgasms, others even had orgasms on the air. The idea that an adult woman needed to be told that appearing on the Howard Stern Show at all might become sexual jerk off material, let alone that being tickled on-the-air might be that, because what -- they thought it wouldn't be sexual -- isn't plausible to me.
