Piracy was great for producers

The myth that piracy was hurting the tickle media industry has been fully exposed. With pornhub basically destroying 80% of piracy with their rules , we've seen an almost sharper decline of the product. Either that or 200$ for a tickle shoot just isn't attractive anymore for models.

Oh the humanity, some of the clips being produced are downright comedy

I like how you were willing to trade a "$400 custom" for a video because you were unwilling to spend $15 for what you actually wanted.

Yeah not quite. I was perfectly willing to spend, and I did end up purchasing the clip in question on Aug 26th (check receipt attached)

The issue was that Clips4sale had blocked my card for some stupid reason and made me fill a bunch of forms before being able to use it on their site again, and I can also provide receipts for that. Don't be so quick to assume stuff just to illicit adoring responses from the brown-noser that came after you and who looks quite like a fool now LMAO!!

Guy who's never produced a single clip shares his hot takes on how he imagines the industry works. Enlightening stuff.

Piracy can make people buy other clips. Sure. But it remains theft and I think it doesn't really help the industry. However, in the past previews used to be more common. Hard to say, the industry especially changed and good stuff is still out there. Still the golden age was 2000-2011 or something.

Oh ok sorry shithead I should have realized the guy with the thread "Piracy was good!" was actually spending money all along.

You eventually buying the clip doesn't make trying to trade a $400 custom for it any less stupid.

I have produced plenty of videos actually. Piracy especially on pornhub used to spread the word and fuel the appetite for customs and more demand for clips

Let me get this straight. People getting FREE clips by watching pirated clips, are now more inclined to purchase clips? Here's a question. Why? Why would they all of the sudden feel the urge to pay for something when they were getting it free?

Your theory makes zero sense. ZERO. Explain your concept. And, the fact that you were willing to trade a $400 custom video for a $15 clip to be traded to you makes zero sense at all. I have had customs made and there is no way in hell I am doing any trades. I spent $400. The other person spent $15. How is that even remotely a fair trade. Why not just buy the $15 clip yourself? Why bother with a trade?

You then bring out "receipts" and videos you produced yet, nothing in those pictures prove it is YOU that produced videos.

You seriously need to stop with this. What you are even trying to defend makes ZERO sense. I am sure you will come back and say we just don't understand, so explain your POV. Why on earth would piracy HELP the industry? People get to watch free clips and now they want to spend money on clips. Just say that out loud to yourself and see if it makes sense.

Im a narc, whenever i see a clip and recognize the producer, i pm them the link to their clip. I would be pissed of my work was out there for free.

Toe-tally unrelated, but the girl in your signature GIF seems to be having a really hard time with those feathers between her toes, and I love it. Is there a video of this somewhere for sale?

Ah, my mistake - not having browsed your personal email account, I wasn't aware.

Glad to hear that piracy helped turn you into the great success you doubtless are. Had you thought about giving a TED talk?

There are several arguments people make that piracy can lead to more consumption of a product, but they typically only apply to something with alternative streams of revenue.

For example, you could argue that music piracy leads to more people finding out about bands that they end up liking and then spending money on tickets for live shows. Musicians typically make more money off of touring than from their record deals, since record labels often get a large cut of the profits.

This sort of business model doesn't apply to porn or movies in general. Now, if a tickling studio did live shows in addition to producing videos, then you might be able to apply this logic.

You're absolutely right. It's a common mistake. The other issue is scale - tens or hundreds of thousands of people downloading free content doesn't have as much impact on a major film or music distributor. When it is thousands downloading free content from a tiny business, with customers numbering in the hundreds (or less) it does harm them. It's like saying that stealing from your local corner store is fine, because people do it from Walmart all the time and they're still going.

Also, making the argument that some producers still exist so therefore piracy must be fine is just dumb.

Yep, scale is another important factor.

On a completely different topic, I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed a lot of your clips. I recently bought 2 of the ones that have Rhianna. Her laugh is awesome. Will she be returning anytime soon?

Tickling videos are between $6-$20 a piece. That's pretty damn cheap if you ask me. Kind of saddens me that piracy took down so many companies.

Imagine being a producer and spending X amount of dollars on the equipment to produce videos. Then you have to rent the space to produce the video and find the models to participate in the videos. The bills pile up.

This industry got boned hard for no good reason imo.

That was kind of my point. Pornhub's attempts to be woke wiped away all content form non verified producers including myself. my entire page was taken down. im still selling via other means right now, just much harder to reach niche target audiences, which pornhub was perfect for!

Boy that word really just became the go-to for dullards isn't it? People kept uploading rape on there.

Fire up a Vimeo, or better yet just pop everything on Google Drive for us to take at our own discretion. It'll help the business, amirite?
