Medieval stocks

Anybody else a fan of the medieval kind of stocks? I think they are more restrictive, I like the wooden texture and being able to lock up one's feet with a nice, heavy padlock to emphasise them trapped and cannot get away!

I'm not much of a fan of modern looking stocks (the ones made with leather). It does get the job done and they can certainly be more comfy (then again, you can just wrap towels around the ankles for the medieval ones) but they just don't have.. as much personality for me. But thats just me. lol

Personally, I think they both have their merits. But there IS something definitely arousing in seeing a pretty pair of feet locked in those heavy wooden stocks.

I love the medieval dungeon aesthetic and it's why most of the furniture in my dungeon that my husband custom built was made with wood.
